  1. Is that what I’ve always dreamed of Smith doing? Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners
  2. Sad, he was a great player and represented IU well. RIP Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners
  3. Feels like Marquette was an aberration right about now, which sucks. A lot of variables in play right now so I’ll give them that, but we looked straight up intimidated out of the gate tonight. Looking for incremental improvement over the next couple weeks. No reason at all we shouldn’t see the type of play we did against Marquette. where did that pure determination and flow go? 4. Plenty of bad wraps on Davis lately, but he’ll have a role this year. Maybe not what early hopes were, but he’ll have one. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app
  5. Just looks like a young teams first road test to me. Second half will start to tell the tale. I’m expecting a bit more organization. First half was almost expectedly sloppy. Mo not playing certainly did not help either. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners

  17. Indiana Turns Back Ohio State for First Time in 31 Meetings October 11, 1987|Associated Press COLUMBUS, Ohio — Despite the rain pounding down at Ohio Stadium, the sky was shining for Indiana. And the downpour only seemed appropriate for Ohio State. Indiana, which had not beaten an Ohio State football team in its last 31 tries, shocked the No. 9 Buckeyes, 31-10, Saturday. "I've known about Ohio State football since I was a freshman here in 1949," Buckeye Coach Earle Bruce said. "This is the darkest day in Ohio State football since I have been associated with it." Indiana Coach Bill Mallory, who was an assistant coach along with Bruce under the late Woody Hayes, knows a little about Ohio State's tradition as well. My last year in B-town. Yes it was glorious. Absolutely loved the “darkest day” comment Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners

  21. The North player wants to major in Kinesiology. "I like to keep in touch with the strength coach to see what their strength program is like. That would be a good learning opportunity and he's the one that will be taking care of my body and stuff. So that is pretty important." Looks like Jallow should like the new strength coach hire.
  22. Inside baseball stuff.. very few follow it. The ones who do are the true diehards. Not as many of those as you would think these days.Anyone on this board that now lives out of state can attest to the differences in avid/rabid followings.
  23. I live in NC and the vast majority of the UNC and Duke fans don't even know who THEIR asst coaches are.
