Could be but NW lost by 1 at Iowa and beat Illinois at home. They are pretty good. I don’t have much faith we will get that one on the road.

I agree with everything except I’m not so sure we are a bubble team. I looked at the schedule and see a possible 1-6 seven game stretch and have a hard time seeing more than 2 road wins (maybe 1). The seemingly disinterested part is hard to take. The players almost have “this isn’t going to work” body language . We will see.

74-65 against Chattanooga but it was closer than the score indicates. Sigh. On to the Winthrop contest !!!

I think he does like what he is seeing. Poor play and attendance adds to his ability to do what he wants to do this off-season.

That’s a mystery to me. I was very surprised when I heard he was brought over as the OC.

It is seemingly SO SIMPLE but the SEC just won’t quit. All Alabama had to do was beat a crappy Oklahoma team but not only did they lose they lost 24-3. Three points and non-competitive. Win and they would have been in but they lost to a sh!te team! Why is that so hard to understand?

I do too. Would be nice if our game didn’t “stick out” but the IU narrative will probably continue no matter what.

For your halftime entertainment 2nd quarter just started on TNT with PSU up 7-0.

To be fair it’s hard to do both of those things within 2 seconds but he met the challenge.

As I half watch the IU game the most positive aspect is that PSU is beating SMU 7-0. Not normally a PSU fan but don’t want the anti-BT bias to increase.

That’s correct and why I stated next years schedule looks tougher “on paper” because who knows for sure how good the teams on our schedule will be next year. That being said….I’d bet a lot of $$$ that road games at Iowa, PSU and Oregon, and Illinois at home, will lead to a better/tougher SOS next season. That’s a really tough trio of road games.

I don’t like Clemson but I dislike the SEC more. I hope TN and Texas both go down tomorrow.

Welp. I have no interest in hearing post-game pundits as the “Indiana didn’t belong” comments will be rampant. Maybe they are right but I don’t want to hear it. Now what do we do? Get excited for the big Chattanooga game LOL LOL LOL

There are a lot of fans that should look into a Stubhub refund. They paid big money to watch a competing/entertaining game but it was not delivered.

I’m not saying he is Tom Allen, because Cig is light years better, but punting there was a total Ton Allen “don’t lose by too many points” move. Bad/sad to see. At that point there was literally nothing to lose.

It will be even more clear next year when we go to Iowa, PSU and Oregon.
