I believe I posed this question last year, as it always seems difficult to ascertain when in fact basketball tickets will be available for sale. With that being said, when will tickets be available? The fact that his camp had the audacity to sell that it was not a done deal to Washington was an insult to everyone's intelligence. Any moment that was spent trying to secure a commitment for IU after his father's hire was a waste of time and an exercise in futility. Good luck to him. Jeers to UDub and goodnight. Boo! The 'ville has a lot of gall even poking around (pun intended) recruiting circles after that scandal. If they had a modicum of decency, they would initiate every interaction with a recruit and their family with an apology for the complete and utter lack of institutional control that allowed that conduct to occur. It is frustrating to see a team that has fared so poorly in recent years land high end recruits this early in the process. Would be refreshing to see a highly regarded player commit early. Also, like to see one of our instate guys pull the trigger. One top 20 player would be all it would take IMHO to get others to follow suit. Love to see a Bamba, Diallo or Porter Jr ( I know UW) recognize IU early. I think we are very close to the day that we are back in the ranks of MSU, UK, KU, and Duke. Need a very strong season with a deep push in the Dance with Bryant and OG going pro at season end to show we have the consistency to win regularly (I'm pretty impressed with the B1G titles) that we are a destination spot for 2 to 3 Top 40 players with one McDs player each and every year. How much emphasis are we putting into recruiting Mr. Jackson? When listing local schools on him he mentions Purdue, Butler, Xavier (maybe) and then IU. Not to put too much emphasis on this, but this coupled with little chatter around his recruitment on this board and other sites makes me wonder. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

I would expect this lineup at times. If JBJ is healthy, I think CTC is prone to gravitate to this lineup. Also, swapping out either JBJ or OG and inserting Hartman. Newkirk, Rojo, Hartman, OG and Bryant. Newkirk, Rojo, JBJ, Hartman and Bryant. I still expect BIG things from DD on the boards and defensively. Would be interesting to see DD and OG or DD and Bryant playing together against the likes of Purdont.

Soooo...Bleacher Report has IU at #14, Purdue #13, MSU at 11 and Wisky at 10. I understand that these are early rankings and the difference is only five spots, but was a bit taken back by Purdue and MSU rated higher than our Hoosiers. Purdont has talent, but don't we have more? MSU might warrant a high ranking later in the year, but MSU is YOUNG and historically is far better in March. How much of Wisconsin's rating is based on their strong showing at The Dance? In long, is it unrealistic to see IU as the team to beat in conference with a question mark at PG? I think the margin is slim, but barring major injury the Hoosiers should be right there in the B1G Champ convo, high seed in the NCAA and sights set on no less than an elite 8.
