  1. I think quite a few schools are probably keeping a spot of two open in case the NCAA ends up allowing seniors an extra year in their five for five ruling. That said, I don't see them ruling that way. I also think with three spots open, it best be that we pick up a third big sooner than later. There are still some capable options now.
  2. Niko Bundalo, Ole Miss PF/C. 6'10" Ranked as the 40th best freshman for the class of 2025. Only played mop up minutes at Ole Miss.
  3. Ugnius Jarusevicius enters the portal. 6'11" PF/C from Nebraska. Injured after first game with the cornhuskers last year and did not play the rest of the year. Previous year he was at Central Michigan where he averaged 16.2 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Shot 54 / 31 / 72 with Central Michigan.
  4. LSU has one player now. Mohammed Dioubate (Kentucky) commits.
  5. Joe Tipton predicting John Blackwell to Duke
  6. Aaron Bradshaw, Memphis C, 7'1". 8.6 PPG, 4.2 RPG in 19 minutes per game. Freshman year was at Kentucky, sophomore year at Ohio State.
  7. Would have to get a redshirt ruling for a season where he played 14 games.
  8. If there was ever a testament to how bad of a coach Hubert Davis was, look what Tyson did the one year he was there.
  9. Sebastian Williams-Adams, Auburn, 6'8" freshman forward. Averaged 7 points and 3.5 rebounds. Shot 51/31/52. Ranked 52nd as a high school recruit in 2025.
  10. there are underlying issues. He either left the team or took a break for his mental health and then Villanova removed him.
  11. Also of note: 11 of these 12 have multiple years of eligibility left.
  12. Adam Olsen had an official visit to Auburn that started yesterday.
  13. This coming from the man who said Aaron Craft should have been picked #1 overall in a draft.
  14. Torvik accounts for yearly improvement and even slightly adjusts for where the player was ranked when they were a recruit. The two players it expects to make the greatest efficiency increase are Sherrill and Harris (although Harris minute projection has him coming of the bench).
  15. Torvik has starting posting team roster casts for next year -- obviously a lot of incomplete rosters at this point. However, you can look at IU's ranking compared to teams last year. IU's current 10 man roster would have ranked 23rd last season. Further signings for the remaining spots would move them higher up.
  16. A couple of notes: This is what Rabjohns initially tweeted: "The heart of the Indiana basketball roster is set. IU has added six from the transfer portal -- all with P4 experience -- and IU believes in Trent Sisley and its freshman -- Prince Alexander Moody, Vaughn Karvala, and Trevor Manhertz." But then a few minutes later, he tweeted (I put in bold the Big change): "IU sees high level guard play, athletic wings and high-level shot making from all three freshman. Post depth will remain under consideration from the transfer portal, but the heart of IU's 2026-27 basketball roster is set". I'm sure the change is either because he was told by IU to make that correction or because Rabjohns felt the original tweet made it sound like post depth wasn't going to be addressed when it was in reality going to be.
  17. Except then you have a bigger issue of all those seniors arguing they should have been allowed to go into the transfer portal. In the end, nothing is going to happen in this offseason that would allow for last year's seniors to get an additional year.
  18. JaMichael Williams, 6'8" forward, UCF. Averaged 11.6 points and 8.2 rebounds. Shot 50/31/70.
  19. Funny thing: Adam Olsen is still unsigned.
  20. After IU took two bigs off their board, they are going after Washington’s center who averaged 6/6 and would need a waiver.
  21. Tavion Banks (Iowa) enters.
  22. A couple of thoughts on back up center: Musa Sagnia, NC State. Entered today. 2.3 points, 2.8 rebounds in 12.4 minutes Jeremy Foumena, UCF. 3.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in 12.9 minutes. Both of these players were bench centers in power 5 schools and their fit would be similar to what we would be asking from them.
