IUFB 2024/25 Portalstravaganza

I'm not sure it would. O'Neill was an okay starter for San Diego State but nothing that screams immediate starter at Wisconsin. -

Interesting background. Australian. Played one season of high school basketball in LA as he was looking to become a D1 player. Also worked his way up through high level amateur leagues in Australian trying to make it to the professional Australian Rules Football league. Eventually found himself at UCF punting. Older -- 26 years old. -

Knighten from NIU? Will be nice next year to have another guy who beat Notre Dame. -
FFS.......C.J. Gunn with a career day in Depaul's win over Wichita State. Gunn had 22 points on 9 of 12 shooting (4 of 6 from three).....in just 14 minutes of court time. For the season he's at 9.8 ppg but in just 18 minutes/game. Shooting 46% from the field and 35% from three. In a losing effort, Kaleb Banks had 33 freaking points and 16 freaking rebounds against Florida State.

This Texas A&M's eight non-conference game against a power five team. Damn.
-
TKR charge. That should do it.
-
Purdue fans booing an injured A&M fan. Classy.
-
That is as about a bad of a non-call as you will ever see.
-
LOL at how bad that pump fake was by Loyer as his shot gets blocked.
-
Purdue without a point in the last five minutes. A&M up 9
-
Memphis/Clemson in OT. Dane Dainja (former Illini now at Memphis) with two buckets and an assist in the last minute in a half to get Memphis there.

These were the shots IU took after pulling within one at 67-68: Miss three pointer by Tucker Missed jumper by Galloway Missed three pointer by Rice Missed tip in by Tucker (this was basically a rebound tip attempt) Missed three pointer by Galloway Missed three pointer by Goode Missed jumper by Reneau Missed three pointer by Goode Missed three pointer by Galloway Missed three pointer by Reneau Missed jumper by Rices Missed jumper by Mgbako I understand that you are going to miss some threes, even open ones. But that's an 0 for seven from deep including one from Tucker and one from Reneau and not a single one from Mgbako who was on the bench. The other five shots....mid range jumpers and one tip in attempt that was simply trying to get it back up at the basket on a tight rebound. No shots from Ballo. No inside shots from Reneau. No shots from Mgbako when it mattered because he was on the bench. One ill advised three was the only shot taken by our three leading scorers fro the season. I can live with some missed threes because we do need to shoot them but that shot selection is baffling.

Honestly, regardless of his brother, I don't Alberto Mendoza ever being the starting quarterback at IU. My opinion is that even if nobody else is brought in, he will be third on the depth chart behind Jackson and Cherry in some order. -

Like, say, a Kurtis Rourke? -
I can't remember being this angry after a loss. I don't dislike the players. It would be one thing is the talent wasn't there. I've been through the start of the Crean years and had no trouble getting behind those teams. But to see players who thrived elsewhere actively becoming worse players says everything you need to know.
