This is the modern NFL guys. Its10 years behind the NBA. We don’t let players play and become stars. Stars are selected and curated because they are a product. LeBron, SGA, Mahomes. It’s the same experience. They are curated with their own rule book and special calls/non calls. Having Stars that people love to hate generates clicks and interactions. I would contend it backfired horribly for the NBA but they keep on trying it.
