    Love it. Can’t wait for the season. Was thinking an underrated thing that will help Hoover is the WR Corp. Cig talked about the run game and defense but Hoover is going to have his best set of WRs by far as well.

    That’s such an intriguing point. TA clearly didn’t leave a bare cupboard but he like so many IU coaches before him simply didn’t know how to develop folks or what to do with them

    Spending isn’t out of control atm. They are still making money. The problem is if the exponential growth continues. Which there’s a simply solution. Stop spending money when you are no longer able to make a profit. It’s not rocket science.

    I think IU needs to be willing to overspend here. Winning Sales is a signal. Breaking that barrier makes it easier to sell other ultra elite recruits. Don’t go crazy with the overspend but find the money if it’s manageable

    Rules changed last year it was the top 4 ranked conference champs and JMU was ranked higher than Duke iirc

    And somebody correct me if I am wrong. Even if he’s allowed to play the CFP voters can choose to punish them by ranking them super low and leaving them out the playoffs.
