    The win probability was going down because time was running out. Our defense was gassed from the physical play(holding) that wasn’t getting called. OT would have been terrifying the way the second half was going. Take away the time pressure from Beck as well b

    I get what they are saying. If the game was a bit longer they probably win. But that’s only because the dirty play wasn’t getting called. I think that’s why Cig Kicked the FG. He didn’t want OT. But wanted to force them to drive the field quickly. Something Beck couldn’t do

    Yeah this is definitely a rarity. But it’s not full blown Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber either. I also think this was due to the unique transition into NIL that Cig took advantage of. I likened it to money ball. As everybody started doing it. Then it was harder to have success just from doing it.

    I think the could be made that Iowa came closer to beating us than anybody. They lost their QB and we made some plays. Id argue that Penn State only got back in that game because an official got in Ponds way. But Iowa had us dead to rights straight up. Only game all year where I thought we would lose

    There were a couple of late hits on Mendoza. One on Omar Cooper Jr. a bunch of blatant holds. For me the the egregious BS was giving Beck the roughing the passer on the final drive. Call it both ways
