Isn't that what they all do? Like they are each other's source? Over at 247, those guys were like gone/staying/gone/staying. Makes you darn near dizzy.
All those past players make really good points. I hope, and somewhat believe, that Glass listens sincerely to what they have to say. They were all at the very heart of this program. Sadly, I'm also not surprised that wasn't the case in the past.
I still chuckle remembering one game where Knight yelled at Lewis out on the floor. Lewis just stood there and yelled right back at him! Kid had some balls.
I thought he just meant the new coach wouldn't have to worry about being able to pay his assistants well. Not that IU would have a group of names he had to choose from.
I also heard that call. When he was talking about the "top ten coaches", he wasn't talking about won - loss records, or anything like that. He was talking about how hard the coaches were recruiting Romeo. I just wanted to add that in case someone didn't get want you meant. Sounds like another case of a top in-state player being given less attention than deserved. I think that may have been happening a lot.
Because most coaches realize that their hiring starts the countdown to when they are let go. Very few get lifetime jobs. I think people are reading way too much into what he said, or did not say.
I like that he will consult with former IU players.
By the way, DD is going NUTS on 1070! Calling out everyone from the Administration to Quinn. Calling the "IU way" a bunch of "chicken blank".
What a tool!
