I saw him mentioned in an article mentioning Marquette and Minnesota. Both those programs have coaches now. He'll probably be mentioned for the Texas job as well, especially if Beard says no. He's a big enough name that he'll be mentioned in any large opening.

I don't think anyone would want IU to "blatantly" cheat. But rather if you want to win and win big consistently nowadays you might have to operate in a gray area ala UK, KU, Duke, UNC (don't tell me any of them are clean - they aren't). This is unfortunately the reality - like it or not. That's why we all want Brad, right? He wins AND he's squeaky clean.

It's not that we don't care, dude. It's your approach. You have this "I'm right, everyone else is wrong. If you don't believe me, you're dumb" attitude and it makes you look like, excuse my language, a pompous *******. I think you'll find 99.99% on here appreciate any inside info (see Chris, Yeagley, 0708, etc). Just not the way you minimize everyone else's and try to maximize yours. It's up to each person to believe it or not - we don't need you to do that for us.

I agree - it sucks. But I'd tend to believe more that OSU made it up and leaked this nonsense to embarrass us, hurt us with recruits, transfers, etc. than Dolson picked up the phone and called a conference rival with a coach who has done well so far at OSU to try and get him - that is just ABSURD. Especially when there are plenty of other options out there. There's no way SD is scrambling this badly.

Have a VERY hard time believing he reached out to a coach in our own conference who isn't, in any way, on the hot seat. No way that happened.

I'm going to bet there's some FOMO going on. So many players are entering the portal nationwide - it's crazy. I don't think our players have been told anything from Scott Dolson and can't afford to wait any longer to put their name in and see what potential options they have before all the big schools fill their rosters.

SD has had a plan from day 1 and nothing has changed. Even with a massive school with $$ coming into play.
