  1. Yup. We put him on a pedestal and he knew he could get whatever he wanted out of us. No hot chick is attracted to the dude who constantly throws himself at her no matter how many rejections. Have fun with that 8 seed and 1st round loss - if you even get that. You'll be missing us then, Brad when C's fans are screaming for your head. Or you wont - who cares. It's over.
  2. I agree. Funny we thought his wife (and agent) was on our side.... Moving on.
  3. Well if he used IU as leverage (can't blame him) then that may close the door on him ever coming here. See ya, Brad.
  4. Still trust our insiders but I hope Dolson has some respect for IU here. We can't just wait and see what happens with Brad and the NBA playoffs. Hope he didn't say "here's our offer, we'll wait until we see what happens with the NBA playoffs" You have to be willing to walk away. Offers shouldn't be open ended. I want Brad as much as the next but if he doesn't want to come, and if the huge offer we (allegedly) threw at him isn't enough - goodbye. You can't just take the job whenever you want, Brad.
  5. Yup. Woj and Shams haven't said a word. They aren't in the speculation business like 99% of national sports reporters. When they speak, it's facts.
  6. I originally thought the same but I mean, what if the C's go to the Finals and win (they won't) or even makes a deep playoff run. He then quits or gets fired? I don't see it. A flameout in the first round, maybe.
  7. Appreciate the info. This doesn't make sense to me. If you're leaving/negotiating with IU, whatever - why would both Brad and the Celtics want him to continue on the sidelines?
  8. Ignore the national guys. How hard is it to just say "I've seen the IU/Brad chatter, haven't heard anything either way. I can't see him leaving but it isn't impossible" They want us to be bad sooooo badly and I love it. If it were Duke in the middle of a coaching search, the tone would be the complete opposite.
  9. He's committed to Brad not coming. Can't flip now. Now he'll just blame his "sources" if Brad comes. Nothing to see here.
  10. Mixed emotions with the DylanEveryday guy. @ISP didn't you say to trust this guy?
  11. is that a good thing? -not a gambling guy
  12. The only national NBA guys I'll believe are Woj and Sham. Notice they haven't said a word yet....
  13. I can confidently tell you the National guys don't know diddly poo. And if/when they're wrong, they'll make stupid excuses for being wrong Source: my brain
  14. Has nothing to do with the current game but count me in as not impressed too. Other than those two years, his record is average at best. I do like his personality, though. I'd honestly rather have Beilein. Yes, I know his age.
  15. legit source? looks like a Bucks report so may have NBA sources.
  16. The interview give you a nice idea of what Bostonians are like. After Ainge says "I think he's going to be the Celtics coach for a long time (direct quote)", one of the interviewers goes "those hicks always want to go back, the hicks always want to leave" At the 22 min mark if anyone wants to hear it.
  17. Ok. So it's Brad or Beilein if there actually is an announcement. Lord help me if it's Fife - MSU's season did end last night.
  18. Gotcha. That's what I imagined he said. A twitter comment made it sound more concrete so I wanted to hear it for myself.
  19. https://985thesportshub.com/episodes/danny-ainge-joins-toucher-rich-patrick-chung-announces-retirement-3-18-hour-4/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Danny Ainge interview yesterday. Apparently he said Brad isn't leaving....haven't heard that yet. Still listening.
  20. I tend to believe this too but I guess it depends on the donor. I'm also not a billionaire. $10M to the ultra wealthy is like $10 to others. All proportional. Totally feasible Scott just went to these guys and said "I'm 90% sure I can get Brad but he wont talk to me while IU still has a head coach. I need $10M now"
  21. It seems like he wants to leave the C's in the best way possible. I mean, they're still in the playoff race. Although not where C's fans want them to be (check out twitter, it's brutal, they really hate Brad right now) but I'm sure Brad feels a sense of responsibility to leave in a positive way. If everything our insiders have said is accurate, I'd still expect this to happen sooner rather than later. I don't see Brad finishing the NBA season if he's coming here.
  22. Do you think Brad is on the Celtic's bench tomorrow?
  23. Appreciate all your info! I choose to listen to the insider here since, well, if you believe the national guys, we won't have a coach next year since no one is apparently interested in the job....morons
