So so so happy he is back.  Coach Hagen is so valuable in a lot of ways.  He is generally been considered to be one of the top recruiters around.  And for a guy to come back to Indiana after he left to go to a place like A&M says a lot about Coach Wilson too I think.  This is just all around great news.

Enis still has to be considered a top target...though we still have no clue where some of these athletes are going to be slotted.  My guess would be Morris will be a wideout and enis will be a rb/db....

Seems like a good blocker on top of some decent hands.

Also now reading Allen Stallings a DE who committed to Central Michigan a couple weeks ago will be visiting this weekend.

Weaver has held a USF offer. Not sure how long and according to a site Allen wasn't the lead recruiter but there COULD be a connection there.

You have to think with the way kids build relationships with coaches that we will immediately have interest from SOME prospects that he was a lead recruiter on. His son will be a senior next school year and is a good DE/OLB prospect too. Wonder if he will be transferring to a Bloomington school.

He is building. It's easy to see the product has improved. Keep winning. Albers is as useful as a poopy flavored lollipop

Not positive on this but pretty sure that when they declare they are gone. Unlike college bball where they take an eval period to test the waters. With 7 rounds most are apt to stay anyway. I hope he gets drafted. Just don't see his name on anybody's board at all.

Oh I totally agree. They aren't lacking in value. I pay close attention too. And I do believe we have seen an uptick in our quality based off those two classes a couple years ago that were top 40 overall. When you mix quality and quantity you see a program rise because competition nurtures talent. We still haven't got to see some of the guys from those classes. Geeeeked.

I've always told people to not look at the rankings but pay more attention to who we are beating for these kids. You're correct, it used to be northern Illinois and Toledo that we would beat. Now it's power 5 teams and some pretty good ones. Delroy Baker? We beat Florida for him. I know he is gone, but Tommy mister? We beat out notre dame and mich state. I think coach does a great job of seein talent and going for it. Rankings are fun I do wanna see us improve it, but it's just the surface of the recruiting situation.

Merry Christmas to all. Still relatively new to the boards here but really really love it. Nothing beats a family of Hoosiers. Hope all who is going to NYC has safe travels! I know it's gonna be on mind all day. Can't wait to get there!
