Buckner and the BoT have to sign off on the hires... Buckner refused to do so, and made the nepotistic hire of his buddy, one who, at best, was a journeyman coach. Buckner is a prime example of the Peter Principle in action. And it comes with a large dose of arrogance, to boot. I'm sure Purdue would love to have you as a fan.

Well, there are rumors, but the portal doesn't open for another 10 days, so we got guys saying they're entering, but nobody is in the portal yet... I trust Carr and DeVries to be busy doing the work... Orme and everybody else that's "leaning" or "locked" to Indiana is just BS lip service at this point... so, until that time, "lighten up, Francis". -
