Sweet 16? How many lottery pick did RMK have on that team? Answer: ZERO. Alan Henderson was the 16th pick in the '95 draft. Damon Bailey was the 44th pick in the '94 draft. Brian Evans was the 27th pick in the '96 draft and no one else was drafted... it takes Crean TWO of the top 4 picks to get that far...

You may be 100% correct in your analysis... but personally, I see the REASON for the worse/worst times in a key piece to this discussion. In the 2008-2010 time frame, the program was decimated at the hand of one Kelvin Sampson... and that generated a sympathy factor in the fan base towards the program, the kids and to some extent the new staff. The attendance at that time was to show support and sympathy for the state of the program and the effort to recover/rebuild. In today's case, the absolute opposite would be on display. Rather than show up for bad basketball to support the recovery, it would be a (lack of) attendance to show our displeasure with the state of the program and how it's being mismanaged, and destroyed. Just another perspective.

How do we Hoosier basketball fans make Glass understand how angry and frustrated we are with Tom Crean and his totally inadequate preparation, his stupefying substitution patterns, his inability to teach fundamentals and his absolute failure as an in-game coach and motivator? Crean's brand of basketball is laughable, and I am done supporting it. I've stopped supporting the school with my funds, and have put my IU shirts, sweatshirts and hats in deep storage for the duration.

How does a defending B1G champion shoot 54.5% from the floor (including 53.8% from the 3 point line) and LOSE BY 30 POINTS? IMO, it has a lot to do with coaching and lack of defense (proof is that UM shot 63.3% from the floor and 55% from the 3 point line) ... pathetic... I am sick of this cr@p... time for Crean to pack up and leave...

Interesting. TB finished with 14 points. ONE rebound and 2 turnovers... hardly "ready to play" for a 6-10, 255 pound center/power forward.

At the risk of this being seen as another "bash Crean" post (I assure you, it's not)... Does it seem that Indiana basketball has an excessive number of these types of issues? What happened to the conditioning process... I remember reading how the coaching staff was focused on strength and conditioning to the point that IU basketball players would be the best conditioned athletes anywhere. And I get it that freak injuries happen, but we've had an excessive number of knee injuries - JBJ x2, Hartman x2 and OG ... in just the past 4-5 years. What's the deal? Praying for OG and wishing him a successful surgery and a complete recovery. He's a great kid who just got a tough break.
