Where do you think Pete Thamel is getting his information? (He was also the first to break Cignetti to IU)
-
They wouldn't say he could be back for Michigan State if his recovery was 3-6 weeks...

It's going to be Cuban; and it really is the best option (if he wants to do it). He's the biggest success story the university has and almost everybody knows who he is. A lot of the names here would be great for IU fans, but not for the country as a whole. 90% of college football fans don't even know who Anthony Thompson is. I could see them doing a small feature on him though. Anyone suggesting Sage Steele is off their rocker. You could name 500 alumni before ESPN would bring her back on. Oladipo/Mellencamp/Buck/Schwarber are probably the only other options.

She did go to IU East.

He was even better on Better Call Saul.

Jonathan Banks would be my choice, but they'll go with Cuban.

Holy ****.

I had the displeasure of sitting near maybe the most annoying Nebraska fan in the building yesterday. (Didn't say anything bad or over the line, but just wouldn't shut up through the first quarter and a half). He was however, very quiet in the 2nd half. All the other Nebraska fans around us were great.

If this isn't true, I'm holding you personally responsible. -

Not great. 2025 is about as disappointing of a class as it can get with so many strong targets in the state. I guess we just have to hope we remain a big portal destination at this point. -

I posted this earlier, but he is very good on short recruitments (every player you mentioned above). His strength is the portal, and he is very good at it which is very important in today's game. However, IF we don't land Mullins and the only guy we get who we had a lot of contact with for an extended period in 2025 is Sisley, it's hard to deny there could be a real problem with his long term HS recruiting, which while less important than say 5 years ago, is still important in building a successful team. My guess is he has a successful enough year this year with the portal talent he brought in that he gets an extension until he decides to retire, my guess is he retires as IU coach in the next 4 years and doesn't get fired. -

Only landing one 2025 recruit in this class should be a criminal offense. Woody clearly excels in short term bag throwing (Portal, Mbakgo, Tucker). But I think you have to start admitting there's an issue if he only gets one commit in this class. -
If anyone can help, heading to the game next weekend and trying to figure out the parking situation. From what I've read the Church on Dunn may be the best option if we get there early? Or is shuttling from College mall a good idea? I don't know what that will look like for a GameDay sellout.

Uhh...10/23... Hearing Mullins is likely IU bound. #iubb Now you guys can feel better. I'm also just a random guy on the internet, so you can take my word for it. My sources are good, trust me. -
As somebody going to the game, I was really hoping this would get flexed to an evening game. I get that noon is the prime slot, but still.

(2025) QB - Julian Lewis to Colorado (for now)
tyappleg replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
I mean; in football (especially at QB) you would like to recruit a star QB who can sit behind your upperclassmen for 2 years and then take over junior year being very well versed in your system. (A la Arch Manning at Texas). Obviously the transfer portal has changed that somewhat, but I still think the above is the superior tactic rather than adding a guy for a year. People not interested in a 4/5 star stud QB because he might not be as good as senior Tayven Jackson year 1 is insane to me. And also very short sighted. Yeah, he won't help much next year, but it helps in establishing your program and being able to not miss a beat when your guy graduates. -

This is just some guy on reddit with one post (this one). This most likely is a bunch of nonsense. IU might still get him, but I would put no thought into this post.
