Besides a couple of candidates whoever will be hired is going to be a risk. While the final 4 is impressive against big boys it is nothing that other coaches have done during a magical run. Jim Larranaga did the same with George mason, Shaka did the same with VCU, crean did the same with Marquette, Davis did the same with IU. They had the same half court offense last year and they beat plenty of teams that played solid D. This year they have beaten teams with a better defensive rating then northwestern. Having said that I agree I will never like the weave Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

The only way Michigan was going to win was by their offense (us not guarding anyone helped with that) Michigan was never going to win with their defense. Northwestern on the other hand relies on their defense to win. Their offense isn't as good as their defense meaning if they don't score well they tend to let teams hang around and win ugly with their defense.
