  1. TCU is an example of a team taking some really bad losses early in the year and getting better and overcoming those losses to make the tourney. Lost a home game to New Orleans and a home home to Notre Dame. They are up 5 at Texas Tech with 1:10 to go
  2. 20 min clock delay in this Bama/Georgia game. Ridiculous
  3. Multiview on the big screen is a new feature since I went to YouTube TV. Champ week is coming
  4. Arizona/Iowa St. let’s do this. Also it’s bullcrap that espn is using Jay Bilas/Shulman for the Big 12 tourney and Boogs/Fran get bumped. Those 2 are the Big 12
  5. Will Wade lost over 25 again At home
  6. Illinois has been using Europe for awhile now so they have an established relationship. I’m guessing the others had their staff in place and might have had staff members with relationships. I would need to go back and see when those players committed for those teams. IU late in the game once their staff was completed went after 2 late in the cycle. Interested to see how this cycle will shake out
  7. IU Indy down 7 with 24 sec to go
  8. Turned out to be a top 20 class for ESPN could of been worse
  9. From what was reported the staff was fine with the 11 they had. When Goode and Leal didn’t get approved they took flyers on 2 internationals that they knew would be developmental pieces and both sides knew that going into it
  10. They are but they are getting mid major money. There are workarounds the rule
  11. Someone on another site posted a timeline of when each coach was hired and when most of the players committed with most the top players committing before the April 7th clearinghouse hearing and it really showed that IU was behind the 8 ball with DeVries and Adam’s 13 days after DeVries was hired as the only ones on the staff before that deadline besides Norton. I would advise people to wait until this next cycle before holding judgment however I can understand peoples frustration and not waiting giving where IU has a program is nowadays in the college basketball landscape
  12. Federiko Federiko was a Big a lot wanted IU to land but they refused to pay him the 2 plus mil his camp was asking. He went to A&M and is currently playing 9 min a game averaging 2 pt and 2 rebounds a game. Portal is hit and miss
  13. Purdue could lose both those games and their NET won’t drop them anywhere near 30. They have done enough all year and built their metrics up enough where if they slide it’s only going to be to 15 at worst
  14. IU has 2Q1a wins which a lot of bubble teams don’t have any Q1a. That would matter during the scrubbing process. Ius predictives are better this year. WAB kept them out last year and WAB will keep them out again if they can’t get it to around 42.
  15. No. Unlike football if you play a second in a game then that burns the redshirt for the year. Football if you play 4 or fewer games I believe then you can still redshirt
  16. He updates his X account in real time. Not sure when he updates espns websites
  17. 19 wins and they will be sweating during champ week, but yes, that could do it
  18. He had them second to last team in front of New Mexico now he has them as last team in behind New Mexico
  19. IU losers of 4 straight with one of them being at home to Northwestern is still in Lunardis field as last team in. Most will have them in their First 4 out while a few will have them next 4 out. Bubble is always weak and teams that play in strong conferences give you opportunity after opportunity. Win a home game against Minny(not guaranteed) and they get a shot at a team on the road that is back in the field. Win another road game against a tourney quality team and who knows. What I do know is that their WAB is 50 and the only way that goes down to where it needs to be is winning at Ohio St. still have Phase 3 as well to build the resume.
  20. It took a 2 BTT games where were down big and really to come back just to become second to last team in the field in his first year. 1 time in 10 years where they were solidly in the field. I would argue the Covid year they were solidly in the field but it got cancelled
  21. The others went down a level. The freshman one went to Kentucky and I’m not sure he is getting much playing time and one the others I think went to St. John’s
  22. IU was behind the 8-ball with him to begin with even before DeVries stepped foot on campus. painter has been on him for the start. Still ways to go but IU is playing catchup
