Off topic---but congrats to the Football Buckeyes tonight.   Finally---the Big Ten gets a little football respect.   This is a one time tip of the hat----I go back to hating all things Bucky tomorrow! :biggrin:

That is a tough break (no pun intended)---for Wiscy.   I hate it when teams have injuries---because we are all too familiar with that at IU too.   This is a huge loss for them----as I think they are thin on speed and ball handlers in the backcourt.

12-4 is a solid start----keep working hard ladies.

Yes--we should have beaten EWU at home---but they are a good team which makes the loss just a little better.   If they end up making the NCAA tourney----I may have to pick them as one of my upset picks because they are the real deal.

Eastern Washington won again ----over Idaho this time.   They are now 12-4 and 3-0 in their conference.   They are currently ranked as the 7th best 3 point shooting team in D1 basketball.

Seems like a Bryant or a reclassified Maker would want to be part of the fun---and the run---next year! :yes:

HELP WANTED: Queen Olivia Pope the 40th of Francais/IU is now accepting applications for a personal assistant.  The applicant must be a quick learner with a good sense of humor and an avid Indiana Hoosier and Charlotte Hornet fan. Time management skills are crucial as the applicant will have to assist Queen O in scheduling and handling a busy itinerary. Due to recent events involving terrorism ---training in personal security and protection is required-----past experience with the CIA or Secret Service is preferred. All applicants must be trained in the martial arts and have the ability to diffuse bombs.  Computer programming experience is also desired----especially the ability to coordinate with satellites and reprogram our country's nuclear weapons arsenal to target Lexington, Kentucky as needed.  References are required and will be checked.   Is this what you had in mind Queen O?    Any takers?

Unfortunately---I think we only play Wiscy once---on the road.   The Kohl center is NOT a friendly place to IU over the years.

Watching Wiscy against Duke during the challenge---you could see that as soon as a couple key players got in foul trouble---Wiscy had trouble with their depth and it showed again today.   Outside of Jackson---Wiscy doesn't have great ball handlers.   Outside of Kaminsky and Jackson--they have very few players who can create their own shot.   Wiscy is vulnerable and I hope IU can take advantage of some of their weaknesses.

Wild day in college BBall.   I was shocked to see Rutgers beat Wiscy-----but then learned Kaminsky did not play due to concussion-like symptoms and Jackson missed most of the second half with a injury.   So the loss was with an asterisk ----but it was a loss all the same.

It seems like Kansas goes after whoever Kentucky is after-----hope Bryant understands he can be THE man at IU instead of one of many at those other schools!

Hate to hear Kansas is now trying to get involved.

Read on another site (sorry--inquiring minds want to know) that Bryant recently tweeted an article that said the Cuse and us were his two leaders.
