Exactly...LEO was brought on because Allen saw how divided the team was under Wilson. Players could see that Wilson played "favorites" and that created a divide in the locker room to the point where it affected how they played as a "team". On the defensive side specifically, Allen has mentioned multiple times how the players didn't trust each other to do their jobs and it led to breakdowns.

Like you said there are still four games in which we will be favored; win all four and we can have our first winning season in 10 years? (Plus the bowl game). I think everyone would be very happy with that finish. This also Maryland's homecoming game so it will be interesting to see what kind of turnout they have. I just want to see better offensive execution and play calling overall; we all know the defense will show up.

After the last two disheartening losses here we are once again, trying to get back to the winning column. This game is particularly important in terms of bowl eligibility; if we lose we'll be (likely) staring at a 4 game losing streak and somehow attempting to win the last three games (at Illinois, Rutgers, and the Bucket game). Just like us, Maryland has been hit hard with injuries and are leaning on their 3rd string quarterback. I'll be interested to see how IU responds after the last two weeks and if DeBord opens up the playbook against a less talented defense. ESPN's Football Power Index gives us a 57.5% chance of winning. For people that follow S&P+ Rankings: MD (3-4): MD Overall S&P+ Rank: 93 MD Off. S&P+ Rank: 87 MD Def. S&P+ Rank: 77 MD Sp. Teams S&P+ Rank: 112 Indiana (3-4): IU Overall S&P+ Rank: 52 IU Off. I know basketball is around the corner...but lets not forget we still have a football team to root for. This will be the 4th. ranked opponent we face this season and thankfully our schedule will get much easier after this weekend (outside of the Wisconsin game). It is MSU's homecoming and I'm sure they will want the Old Brass Spittoon back after last year's debacle, but ESPN's Football Power Index still gives us a 39.8% chance of winning. For people that follow S&P+ Rankings: MSU: MSU Overall S&P+ Rank: 20 MSU Off. S&P+ Rank: 78 MSU Def. S&P+ Rank: 9 MSU Sp. Teams S&P+ Rank: 59 Indiana: IU Overall S&P+ Rank: 44 IU Off. This could be a big recruiting weekend in Bloomington! Hoping we can pull the upset and impress some of the visitors. From Steve Wiltfong at 247Sports: Indiana is expecting many of their commits and top targets on campus for Saturday afternoon’s game against No. 17 Michigan. Tom Allen and company will host four official visitors in Miami (Fla.) Southridge teammates in defensive end Randy Charlton, and James Head, who is already committed to the Hoosiers, along with Ole Miss receiver verbal Demarcus Gregory and IU receiver pledge Jacolby Hewitt. The Hoosiers have been trending for Charlton since his July visit and he’s excited to get back to Bloomington. “The IU game atmosphere and feeling of the team,” he said of what he looks forward to seeing the most. The 6-foot-3, 196-pound Gregory has been saying he’s 100 percent committed to the Rebels but his weekend plans say otherwise. He fits the mold of what Grant Heard covets at the position and IU would love to flip the Duncan (SC) Byrnes standout. Besides Head and Hewitt, other members of the Indiana 2018 class slated to be back include quarterback Reese Taylor, defensive ends Madison Norris and Gavin McCabe, offensive lineman Nick Marozas, safety Jordan Jusevitch, cornerback Jaylin Williams, tight end Matt Bjorson and kicker Charles Campbell. Notable underclassmen to keep an eye out for include 2019 linebacker Jack Kiser (has IU offer), 2019 cornerback MJ Griffin (has IU offer), 2019 offensive tackle Chris Akporoghene (has IU offer), 2019 defensive end Karter Johnson, linebacker Dezman Cooper and 2020 running back Daylin Dower.

That's like him saying, "These are some of the more well known programs that have already offered me...any other major programs interested!?" -

It's homecoming Hoosiers! Should be a perfect sunny day for some football. According to IDSNews, we haven't beaten Michigan in 30 years (!!!) and haven't won a homecoming game since 2010. After seeing part of their game against MSU this Saturday, I think we have a good chance for this to be our "breakthrough" game of the season. Michigan's O-line is not the greatest and O'Korn makes a lot of questionable throws when rushed.

I think he will be taking an official visit for the Michigan game next weekend. Should be a great crowd similar to Ohio St. and hopefully a better outcome! -

I am not saying that I disagree with the move; Ramsey's ability to move gives a better chance to win and getting some experience now will help in the future. I just hate how negative our fanbase can get sometimes. I saw so many people on twitter giving up on this team when we aren't halfway through the season and the two losses were against top 5 teams.
