    I just realized i said Troy twice haha. I meant Bryant!   But yes, Troy is late second round, NBA-DLeague material at this point. PG would said a career high in steals if he was going against Troy haha 

More thoughts after a day has went by..   -Troy simply can't be our PG, nor should he be allowed to drive into a crowded area. It's come to the point where i have to cover my eyes when he's dribbling. How no coach has fixed this yet is beyond me.16 points in the second half and 10 boards were huge for us. Troy led is back and should continue to be a major key. He has great potential.. but until he can learn how to dribble and play under control on offense, he will continue to confuse me haha.    -I don' know what's going on with Yogi, but he hasn't done much of anything the past couple games. Yeah yeah he went for 38 points or whatever, but we were pretty much playing Bloomington South that night.    -Thomas has great post moves, i don't know why we don't get him the ball more. He needs to calm down though, him yelling at little Yogi is uncalled for. Teammates fighting with each other is the worst.    -RoJo has more NBA potential than James. This kid has taken a "baby" oladipo leap this past summer. Great land by Crean. RoJo is a great 6th man that provides scoring off the bench, which we really need.    O.G. - This kid has potential. Showed great court awareness last night, seems to have a good IQ for the game. Excited to see what he does for the next several years.   Collin- Huge spark last night, had 8 straight points then got taken out??? He did a great job on the 2-3 Zone. Great game last night.   Crean- Was very impressed by Tommy Boy last night. Although he had some questionable subs at times..i was impressed.    Great win.. A MUST WIN for the dance. Our B1G schedule looks like a cake walk at first, so we just need to take care of business and grab a couple upset wins and we should be able make the dance. 

Now some of you now know how i've felt for the past couple years.. It's just not exciting anymore. Just not into it.. even with our great comeback yesterday, it doesn't feel great. 

Good coaching from Crean today. I'll give him that. Let's see what he can do in the B1G.. 

Troy is a first round pick off potential alone.   Troy on the other hand, until he gets his handles under control, he's a very very late second round draft pick. 

I dont even know what to take away from that W   Our 2-3 zone is terrible with Byrant down low Yogi didn't do much of anything today besides at huge 3.. Yogi and Thomas obviously don't like each other James is.. i dont know. I'm not sure if Troy is fun to watch or hard to watch...    Odd win. Odd team. Amazing fight... and decent coaching from Crean? Overall, i'm impressed

Love this is the first thread that pops up when i open up the board. 

    I'm just not impressed with anyone in the college ranks. Sean Miller probably won't come here.. I'm sure Archie would love to come here.. but i'm not sure if he's ready for the B1G. it would be a gamble for sure.    Anything is going to be a gamble unless it's Stevens or Coach K lol

  I'm sure Stevens would hear IU out once the celtics are eliminated in the first round this up-coming playoff. and Honestly, i'm not impressed by any head coaches besides  the Millers that would make me jump the gun. So i guess my short list would be Stevens or one of the millers.. but those are like X.Y options.. STEVENS is every letter before those two letters lol   If stevens isn't interested, Keep crean until his contract is fully over and go from there

If it's not Stevens, i'm not interested.    EDIT:     Looking at our schedule. It doesn't look good for us in terms of challenging schedules.. We only play MSU onces and Purdue once. We're going to need to beat one of those to make the dance.    Notre Dame next week is a must win in terms of building up our resume.    If we lose to Notre Dame and end up in the middle of the B1G,i don't see us making the Dance, which means Crean's seat should be open to Brad Stevens. 

  It just blows my mind that this issue hasn't been fixed... i mean what in the world? How can you be a D1 coach or assistant coach and not have him work on it or at least tell him to chill and slow down. He plays out of control way to much which kills us. 

Celtics are playing great ball right now. And guess what, its THE CELTICS. Celtics and Lakers will always find a way to be at the top. Boston doesn't have much to build around besides Smart and Thomas.. They will have to hit a couple home runs in free agency to land a center. Other than that, i don't see the Celtics winning the East anytime soon while Lebron and PG dominate the east.   IU will have to sale him on Bloomington. Brad already knows it's IU and the Tradition.. but i think if he were to come back, it would be for his family not for basketball. That's just my two cents. 

I watched the entire game.. my thoughts and notes   -Assembly Hall was dead, balconies were empty, even lower level seats were wide open.. Although it's dead week.. there might be another reason why people are not showing up... ;)     -IPFW played hard, they wanted the W. Mo Evans coould probably come off the bench for us.    -No way troy gets drafted. Not a chance. No way. Not this year anyways, he continues to play out of control and dribbles the ball way to high. How as no coached told him about this?!   -Yogi had a QUITE 38...   -RoJo was nice. Good for him.      Overall, it was a boring game. I wasn't impressed with our defense at all. Only thing that impressed me was Rojo and Yogi scoring 38 somehow.

A W is great.. but then again.. this isn't a very good team. We're not going to get better playing teams below us.

I heard the crowd boo'd Crean during the intros today. Nice.

I've wanted him gone ever since Cuse. The reason I see him sticking around is because Glass seems to be in love with Crean. Like I said, we will probably win a couple big games later on. Here's something. Let's say we make the dance and lose in the first round. Does he stay because we made the dance?...

    Glad to see someone agrees with me. We need Cuban to convince Brad that the NBA is overrated haha

I hate being the one to say it.. But I'll say it. If we want Crean gone, we're going to have to keep losing. Yes yes losing is bad or whatever , but it's not going to help if the team keeps winning games, let alone if they get a solid W. Yes it sounds terrible, but that's the only way I see him getting canned. However, I see this team winning a couple big games, losing some bunnies, and then getting dropped in the B1G tourney like every year and we end up declining the NIT. Then after we decline the NIT, we'll end up waiting around another year for the season to start to only end up having the same stuff..

We have a whole thread to the one solution that will fix it all. You can teach defense, it's just not being taught. The players that we have on the bench can't play much better defense than any of the starters as well so...   You could probably walk into the HPER and find better defensive players than some of the kids on the team (lol)     Defense isn't just the problem, our offense is hard to watch at times. 

    They love him there.. all Celtic fans that i know worship him.     On a side note, i'm heading to the nearest celtic board and things might get a little rowdy. 

Side note: The girls team took time out of their busy college life to come watch my girls basketball team that i coach here in bloomington. Nice girls.

The sad thing is, we are no where near a championship in the future at all.
