  1. Score Sent from my VS985 4G using BtownBanners mobile app
  2. Giving up the big play....seems to always rear its ugly head in big games.
  3. That would be 6 - 5 seniors (Johnson, Newkirk, Hartman, McSwain, Priller).
  4. Quarters would mess up the second half under 8 time out in Assembly Hall...the greatest time out in college basketball. Sent from my VS985 4G using BtownBanners mobile app
  5. Kyle Kuric (from Evansville) gave up his scholarship his senior year at Louisville and played as a walkon. Sent from my GT-P5113 using BtownBanners mobile app
  6. Kyle Kuric (from Evansville) gave up his scholarship his senior year at Louisville and played as a walk on. Sent from my VS985 4G using BtownBanners mobile app
  7. Scott Haffner...now that is blast from the past. Saw Haffner put up 65 poinrs in 1989 for Evansville at Roberts Stadium in Evansville against....wait for it....Dayton. Dude could fill it. He transferred to UE from Illinois after his sophomore season I believe. Best single game offensive performance by a player I have ever seen. Sent from my GT-P5113 using BtownBanners mobile app
  8. Didn't Hartman go through the Senior day speech (and get engaged to boot). That would be really strange to see him come back after already giving his speech - which is essentially saying goodbye. Has this ever happened before?
  9. As Crean's boss, Glass surely knew TC was leaving on vacation with his family, whether it was a last minute plan or not. Why then would he call for a meeting on the morning Crean was leaving for this trip? That would be stone cold. However, Crean should have requested a meeting upon his return. 10. Not sure Newkirk had options as he already used his transfer year. I believe you have five years to play four, so next year is it for Josh. Sent from my VS985 4G using BtownBanners mobile app
  11. Great interview, can not see how anyone can not like Crean the man. Not bitter and still supports IU, and the team, all of the teams. Told the players to go out and win again because he is. Wow, I could not stop listening to this. I truly hope CTC lands somewhere where he can find success.
  12. Great opening segment with Crean talking about Dan's son Andrew. Left Dakich speechless.
  13. FWIW - Ole Miss beat Syracuse in the NIT today, and Belmont beat Georgia in the first round. If the Hoosiers had defeated Georgie Tech, they could be playing Belmont tomorrow in Assembly Hall. And if they could have won that game, they could have played Ole Miss in AH as well. The way the NIT is shaking out, IU could have played three games in Assembly Hall.
  14. All three refs should be eliminated from the rest of the tournament for missing that call. May not have changed the outcome, but it definitely altered how the game played out. Sent from my VS985 4G using BtownBanners mobile app
  15. Northwestern just got jobbed on that missed goal tending call, and Collins gets T'd up. 4 point swing. How can three refs miss such an obvious call...dude blocks a shot with his hand inside the rim ... really! Sent from my VS985 4G using BtownBanners mobile app
  16. "The Good, the Bad and the (very) Ugly" Sent from my VS985 4G using BtownBanners mobile app
  17. "Deflections of a Curious Mind"
  18. "Indiana Wants Me" by Billy D.
  19. At the end of the Mike Davis term at Indiana, there was a post on the TOS where posters came up with names to describe the CMD era. The names were in the form of a title of a book, movie, song, etc. Many of the titles provided for the Davis tenure can be applied to the Crean era, such as: "The Sum of All Threes" "Running with the Shadows of the Knight" "Knight Court" "Three is More Than Two" "A Series of Unfortunate Events" Okay BTB, what would you name the Tom Crean era at Indiana University?
  20. New coach is likely still working so this may take a while.
  21. Would like to see a little pressure and force the tempo.
