I'm a USI student, and going to B'town for this tonight! Pumped to see Romeo and Juwan in action. Question tho: does IU have restrictions on wearing opponent's apparel to the games? I'm coming with some of the USI student section, so it's probably good to ask this now.

That being said, I don't know much about our opponents this year. It's also IU football, and IU football tends to lose 2 or 3 more games than I think they should.

Been telling myself to keep realistic expectations, so I don't get mad over a teenager's college decision. Now it seems like I realistic expectations and getting my hopes up are one and the same. I've thought Romeo to IU since UL became U6, but haven't let myself get too excited, I guess until now.

That BS is why I'm not a diehard NBA fan of any team. What the h-e-double hockey stick?!

Yeah, figured he might. No reason to worry until he decides to stay in, which I doubt happens because he doesn't have a consistent outside game and isn't quite NBA big-sized.

Amen to this! Since before the Crean firing, I thought we'd have a chance at Romeo with a competent, not awkward coach. Then the Archie hire had me suuuuper optimistic. When he landed like 5 four stars in 2 hours, I got confident that he was the man (if anyone) who could get the job done with Romeo. U6 getting busted just made everything 10x easier, and I've thought we'd be Romeo's destination since then. And there's even an extent that being the "default option" isn't bad, or a reason to discount the signing if Romeo is smart enough to realize IU is the only school he likes that's doing things the right way. Just makes it a no-brainer.

News here at my little school in the SW corner is that USI's 2018-19 backcourt will be the best DII has ever seen when Romeo teams up with Alex Stein next season. Langford. Screagle. Book it.

Lol. Darnold is the only smart QB pick for them at #1. Allen COULD work somewhere like NYG after sitting behind Eli for a year or two, but he'd end up thrust into the fire too soon in Cleveland. The Browns definitely don't need Cutler 2.0 in Rosen (though he could definitely succeed somewhere). Nor can they risk Manziel Part II (even though I don't think Baker will be that, the Browns can't risk it. If they wanted to really risk it and trade to the middle of the round and take Jackson, I could see him surprising and doing better than some expect. With the Browns insane QB history tho, they can't afford to take the risk. Gotta play it safe with Darnold.

I've thought Romeo to IU since the day UofL got FBI'd. I'll stand by that prediction till I see good reason to think I'm wrong.

I'm just ready to watch a good game of basketball! I'm fine with a Michigan win for the B1G, and I like Wagner and Beilein. I'm also fine with Nova winning because I really like the idea of a coach winning 2 titles in 3 years without stupid one-and-dones. Reward teams that do things (at least mostly) the right way! Either way, this is the first NCAA Basketball championship since I've been old enough to understand sports (yes, I'mma youngin) in which I have had a respect/like for both teams.

I'm giddy right now. Screw Kansas.
