  1. If that is true that makes the whole hiring worse because it would mean we didn’t entertain better coaches.
  2. It would make more sense to spend most of that money on a can’t miss coach
  3. Which makes the perceived panic hire even crazier.
  4. I don’t get it. Would have been nice to get some good news after selection Sunday but here we are. It may all work out and I know we fans are just supposed to be supportive but just once it would be nice to be pleasantly surprised and not just accepting
  5. So disappointing…..Guess it’s on us for believing the hype that we could get a HR hire.
  6. Not saying it is happening but Jay Wright could be a left field name for the list
  7. But the committee twisted its values in a pretzel to get the teams they wanted in. There isn’t a compelling argument to be made that Xavier, UNc, and Texas were all ahead of us. If it was schedule then Texas is out. If it is quality wins Xavier and UNC are out
  8. Sorry but there is no way that UNC, Texas, and Xavier are all ahead of us. Their resumes are polar opposites with us in the middle of each metric

  10. Corruption at its finest with UNC
  11. Corruption at its finest with UNC
  12. You nailed it! Do you think we are truly at the mercy of Memphis or think we are a spot or two higher than last out?
  13. The only rationale that ties into the injury comment he made could be, wasn’t OSU without one of their top players for a significant amount of time?
  14. And essentially admits that we should be in with the note that the bubble will gain another spot at the conclusion of the MW final.
  15. people who know much more on the process can correct me if I’m using faulty logic. There should be no way IU is behind all of UNC, Texas, and Xavier. What the committee focuses on could ultimately put one in over us but their resumes are so different that we would be ahead of the others. For example, Texas has lots of Q1 wins but a lot of losses. NC has a lot of wins but none being quality. Xavier has the most wins recently. The only thing working against us could be NET?
  16. I know it isn’t a head to head comparison or necessarily what the committee focuses on but IU vs Texas: We have better record in common games, Texas loss to OSU and South Carolina Texas worst loss - South Carolina IU has the best win - at Michigan State Texas seems like it should be closer to Ohio St than above IU
  17. Good point. The same people tried to edge IU out of the CFP
  18. Delphi also has UNC ahead of us which in my uneducated opinion isn’t likely. If they beat Duke today then sure, but as of now no. We should compare well to Xavier and San Diego St.
  19. So what would our rooting guide be if it is still worth following? Obvious ones are: UNC loss Texas loss Boise St loss Colorado St loss Am I missing any other big ones?
  20. Do we have a rooting interest in SDSU and Boise State?
  21. So are these the same group of officials that called the first Oregon game?
  22. Good to rehash because I remembered the “offers” but had really forgotten all of the attempted coverup
  23. If choosing between the 4 I would take Will Wade because I think he would take the most advantage of our resources and handle the NIL landscape best. McDermott is a good Xs and Os guy and McCollum is high risk high reward. I want no part of Brownell and if he is hired would have to think we missed on several other candidates
  24. I would almost guarantee we didn’t retire Woodson to go after Mark Turgeon. If he turns out to be the guy then we missed on numerous other candidates
