Where is Leal?

The amount of jump passes along the baseline by this team is infuriating.

I’m witnessing hack-a-Shaq on an entire team

It’s almost comical. IU seems to never hit two free throws at the line. They’ve gone 5 times tonight. Went 1 of 2 each time.

Archie isn’t the one that is getting beaten off the dribble over and over again from 23 feet.

Texas is putting on a show at Kansas. Defense is impressive as hell. They’re just so long and aggressive.

Probably depends on if he’s finished his law degree.

The thing I trust the least right now is Trayce’s pick-‘n’-roll defense.

I think we all just saw why Leal’s minutes have been limited. Yikes. He was on skates.

Have you seen the defense since he went out? Ten point lead quickly dropped to four after he left.

IU off to a nice start. Nice to not play a team that all have ridiculous wingspans and great foot movement on defense.

Word is Michigan only wants him for 2020-21 season. If he can’t get a waiver they don’t want him.

That’s true, but while I only speak for one person here, I enjoy reading it. Luke is an interesting player. While I’m not one to post much, I do enjoy reading about Luke. If you don’t, no need to come here and give grief to someone posting something. Luke is a great player in the state of Indiana, and I think that deserves a thread for those of us that like to post or read about him. We continue to have threads about kids who are not from Indiana and have committed elsewhere. I think this is okay to have.

Don’t forget meteorologists!

He’ll help tremendously with his ability to break a defense down off the dribble.

Lack of a second true PG on this team kills it

Jr. got t’d up.

Michigan was the home team. They have to go to the RAC later this month.

I love how Archie is trying to keep Trayce and Rob from getting their second fouls. Give them the ability to play balls to the wall in the second half with absolutely no fear of being in foul trouble.

Does anyone have a sense if Luke would be interested in IU as a Preferred Walk-On? Or if IU would be willing to offer that?

He’s got a scholarship or two available!

At this point I just want to see major minutes for guys that we need to grow for next year. To me, that means Phinisee, Hunter, Franklin, and Thompson need to get more minutes. None of them lack effort, as well. I’d like Phinisee at 30+, Hunter at 20+, Franklin at 20, and Thompson at 20.

It’s not tough to go from watching from a bench to playing in front of a middle school crowd, however. ;-)

I think there’s a major advantage of the Crossroads that’s being forgotten. Students are not on campus during this event. It’s not a great time to host a major/P5 team. This allows all four teams to get a major/P5 game on the calendar at a time of year when no one wants to host one.

Like many have said, he needs to work on his jumper and perimeter defense, but he also hasn’t shown he can use his right hand in his post moves. No way he goes any sooner than late first if he leaves after this year. He’ll be back.
