Weirdly I found the troll who came to attack us in the game thread as an encouraging sign. College football is an elitist club and if with proper investment we’re going to crash the party. We have the coach who wants to do it badly.

They’re all tools except for Pat and Rece. ESPN owns the SEC and ACC and will always hammer that they are superior to everyone else. Even Kirk and Ohio State alum knows where he gets his paycheck from.

Very encouraging press conference from Coach Cig. Made it quite clear that ND had bigger and faster recruits. Coach is being real with himself and that’s great to hear. We need to step up in getting a few players that can match up.

They will most likely expand it to 16 . We’ll have our chances just need to invest into getting better athletes.

We want a consistent winner so badly. Let’s build on this and get better.

Maybe all we need next year is a QB who doesn’t play scared in these top 10 college football venues. Defense was ok.

Welp gents, this is the time we find out what Coach Cig is made of. Will he look at himself in the mirror and realize he needs to improve his coaching in some small aspects (don’t play scared), or are we going to be the same team that’s just happy to be here but never really moves forward. I hope unlike our past basketball coaches that he adapts his game accordingly. Great season, but we have something to prove to the rest of the nation. However long that takes.

We’ll never be respected until we win one of these games. They’re not going to be kind to us if we falter at all next year. Gotta get better.

Kurtis was great for us this year but next year I hope we get a QB with a power conference background. Just couldn’t handle it after being punched in the mouth.

These days I hope Coach Cig has people who are honest with him to move forward as a program. Can’t coach and play scared.

I hope our big donors still see the potential and we garner more NIL to get 4 star athletes. I hope the coaching staff recognizes we need better athletes and better ranked recruits.

Sad part is that I know I could do better than Woodson. Why? Because I’m totally cool with being wrong and adjusting on the fly. I would also hire people smarter than me to run the defensive and offensive plays and humble enough to give them all the credit. Of course I know there are others better than me , but I wouldn’t be a complete joke to the program.

The focus on the AD is football. Needs to concentrate on NIL funding and donations through the publicity of making the playoffs. Firing Woodson creates a distraction away from football. Late February at the earliest.
