    I've met McRobbie and he doesn't know much about basketball, but he's a great President. If he's getting involved it does mean the donors will decide to dry up funds. I base this on my experience with another IU department when the donations were decreased.

    I think most of us expected this result but hoped for the best. I wonder how much the Coach Crean supporters can take before they realize a change is necessary.

    Tom Crean is a product of the "good old boy" network. The man gets paid 3million a year and has not lived up to it come tournament time. The sample size is there and if this were any other person they would have been fired a couple seasons ago. If some of us are so resigned to accepting mediocrity at least let's save ourselves a million for the same results.

    Tough game, but if we win, it could be great for recruiting.

    You can hire them for football and basketball, but I imagine it wouldn't be cost effective to hir them for the rest of our sports.

    I don't he's that great in evaluating and hiring coaches, but the guy really knows how to raise money and market the team real well.

    Yeah, I'm very critical of Crean, but I wouldn't mind having Holt back. He really got hosed for what his teammates did prior to his arrival.

    I really do like the guy, but he's stubborn and hasn't changed his in game management strategies. I always hope he can change some things so he can be successful. It is what it is.
