  1. The trilly tweet from yesterday should be more encouraging than any of the futurecasts. At least one of Liam/Boggie will probably announce their decisions by the end of next weekend. Would rather be in IU's position than KU/UK's position right now with all of the buzz out there. If the roles were reversed, we'd all be writing off IU as being out of it/nothing to see.
  2. How does hoosier hysteria work if it's during a quiet period?
  3. BIG schedule out at noon est according to Big Ten twitter account.
  4. Getting Liam to commit on or right after that visit would be huge for recruiting momentum with guys like Queen/Fland, who have played with him and/or know they aren't the only elite option joining IU in 2024.
  5. If his son commits' in the 2025 class you'll have your wish.
  6. As long as they keep Ace Bailey, I think they'll land him. Not a big deal for IU if they can land Fland and/or some combination of Mustaf/Schwartz/Passmore/Perry.
  7. Interesting. There's other positive speculation with Harper and Rutgers with a future cast pick on rivals and some people on twitter.
  8. Big 12 for football $. Seems like a bad move for hoops. If Calipari doesn't make it to the 2nd weekend, I could see Hurley replacing him at UK.
  9. I don't think Titus has the connections or insight to be Trilly. I'd guess an agent or an assistant coach.
  10. Despite the NIL struggles, rutger picked up a futurecast for Harper. It comes from a rutger writer, but he's managed to be correct ~85% of the time with his predictions.
  11. He seemed to make it very personal about IU. Felt very odd and borderline unprofessional for a national reporter. I'm sure he hears some ridiculous things from IU fans in his replies/emails, but that's certainty true with every large fanbase. Also, until Edey announces a return, I would say IU is a better (or at least more talented) team than Purdue this upcoming season.
  12. If the visit was the following weekend I'd be more concerned with Ware not cancelling. But, logistically when the visit is the following day it's easier to go with the prearranged travel plans than book last minute travel back to Oregon/Arkansas that will be $$$. When Malik committed on his visit, it was easier for him to cancel his subsequent visits when they were weeks (not hours) apart.
  13. It's unfortunate that he didn't cancel the Bama visit. But, I'd rather be the school that may have received a Verbal than the school trying to sway that recruit's mind in 36 hours or less. Also, with an announcement coming shortly after the visit it won't impact IU's ability to pursue Shedrick (a great fallback option).
  14. He's the most likely to commit next, since he's visiting this weekend. I wonder if the staff see's him as a 3 or undersized 4.
  15. Not an expert, but it feels like IU is capped at a 4 seed. I think I've read that the conference tourneys have a pretty minor impact on seeding. The positive is that IU shouldn't be worse than a 5 seed with 2 additional losses (Michigan, 1st BTT game).
  16. I'd vote 50%-75% he gets some minutes. Ultimately, I'm hoping he's eased back in as the first guard off the bench and takes mostly Bates' minutes or any extra minutes from JHS/Galloway in foul trouble.
  17. As am I. I can see Minny running a lot of zone and/or traps with the inquires to their bigs. IU struggled with those looks against Iowa and I'm curious if they attack it differently without Woodson.
  18. I'm more worried about the availability/game planning for OSU. Indiana's talent advantage in conjunction with Minny's injuries should be enough to overcome any coaching challenges.
  19. It's pretty unlikely that TJD catches up to Edey, but it could happen if IU sweeps Purdue and finishes 2nd or tied with Purdue. Assuming TJD keeps up this level of play, I'm hoping Timme doesn't get the 1st AA nod over him. IMO, he's clearly outplayed Timme this year, especially considering the level of competition between BIG/WCC.
  20. He's just trying to create hype for the game, but should've just posted a vid from a win last year at IU or one of their buzzer beaters (Anderson/Griffey).
  21. Would rather go small with Kopp at the 4 or play Reneau in place of Geronimo.
  22. Otherwise same starters (JHS, Kopp, Geronimo, TJD)?
  23. Musselman will make it a battle to win this recruitment. One of college basketball's best NIL programs and not too far from Liam's home. But, the offer may indicate that Texas is out of the picture or in limbo with the Beard situation.
  24. He has 40 SEC titles, so you may be right. But, I wasn't going to put the effort into diving into decades of successful Kentucky seasons to see if that's true.
  25. I'm hoping TJD look more spry as well with a week between games. Self's all time record at Phog is 292-16, so obviously a win under any circumstance would be remarkable. He literally has as many BIG 12 titles as losses there. I don't think there's another coach all time that would be able to match conference titles to home losses.
