Feathery replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
This should be the only question going right now. Has he already signed? Ive been thinking he has as well. I couldn’t see it being leaked otherwise. -

In the case yesterday the Peegs “premium” info was actually shared on another forum first, by someone who doesn’t have Peegs. -

Yes, it is. But Peegs posted his as premium and poster was sharing the info here yesterday and was getting harassed about it. Bc Peegs has to make a living or something. So Adam must charge for his article now too. Gotta keep it premium. -

Somebody better tell Adam Zagoria he is giving out free Peegs info. I’ve hear that isn’t allowed once Peegs take info and says he is making it premium. -

This thread is great. It’s Vandy, no it’s IU, if he commits at McD it’s bad news, If he commits at his high school it’s IU, Kansas loses players like expected and it has to be Kansas, Romeo isn’t going to take another visit so it has to be Kansas. This is Why o check the board every day, the mental gymnastics is amazing. I can’t wait for the next high profile recruit we discuss. Lets be honest, the longer this recruitment went the better it is for IU. Archie was the new coach in town and it’s given him time. At this point no additional visit is needed bc the Langford’s have spent the last season watching each program critically. Wherever Romeo goes I wish him good luck, but I’m rooting for the home team. -

Nobody knows anything. All the Kansas talk is still guesses. -

Maybe that’s part of their redshirting?

I haven’t. We haven’t got him yet and a lot of others are in on him too. Regardless, we need a scorer before we can be successful next year. Romeo, grad transfer, one of the freshmen already coming, whoever it is needs to be able to be an efficient scorer -
Also, no player is listed over 6’9” tall. They have 4 players that height.
-
I went and looked at the Villanova roster and they have 7 players that have redshirted. I thought that was extremely high. I’m not sure if it had to do with injury, transfers, or for player development. But whatever the reason, it’s working. 2nd championship game in 3 years. Recruiting wise they have 2 players that are 5* guys, the rest are 4 and 3*. The 5* kids are low 5*’s, Brunson was ranked 20 and Spellman was ranked 23 in their classes respectively. Zero one and done prospects. Kids that stay around and build something that lasts. Seems like a good model.

I’m not sure how much we will win next year without Romeo. We need a scorer and Romeo fits the bill. I’m not sold on any of the other freshmen being able to step on the court day 1 and put up double digit points per game. -

I agree. I wasn’t impressed with Holtmann at Butler. He isn’t a bad coach but I don’t think he will take OSU to the level they want. -

KBD has already declared, Tate graduates, as does Dakich. That was their top 2 players and maybe their best player off the bench. To me they take a step back next season. Edit: OSU incoming class is ranked 6th in the Big Ten. -

Btown said that MSU will he projected ahead of us. I was saying MSU is losing better talent than they are bringing in. IU with Romeo (and Morgan) will be better than MSU. MSU will take a step back next season. I edited my original post to actually say what I was thinking. -

Maybe but I doubt it. They were overrated this season. The talent they are losing better than what they are bringing in. They take a step back, IMO. Edit: for being an idiot and actually making the post make sense. -

Romeo makes us the top class in the Big Ten. We would be predicted behind only Michigan in the conference title next season, depending on who they lose. We win the Big Ten and we will get a top 3 seed. Which gives us a punchers chance in the dance.
