As good as these teams are left playing, I still feel like we were a healthy Xavier away from being right there. It was wide open this year. We lost our dogg! He was our best perimeter defender and he pushed the ball up the court like no other. I think Kopp/Galloway would have had a lot more open looks if we had X all season. I don’t think people understand how big a loss he was . Bringing Galloway off the bench gives us depth and our team wouldn’t have been so worn out.

Can IU have a small guard like Noel with the way we switch everything on defense?

We need Newton to be ahead of schedule. Don’t ever hear much about him. Wonder if it’s because he was injured for most of the season ?

This game proves we won’t go far in the tournament. We struggle with quick teams and can’t guard on the perimeter. Our bench has dwindled down and our rebounding has been horrendous all season. We are not consistent enough to make it past the sweet 16.

Can we still get a double buy if Iowa beats Nebraska

I want JHS to stay at IU, but as a Freshman he is already really high on the boards. I think it’s risky for him to play another year for not only the injury possibilities, but the not good enough. stigma that gets placed on a kid after coming back. Now NIL is a new intangible, I just don’t think it can outweigh the benefits of going this season.

My wife sat by Trent’s family at game today. They think he is going to commit to IU. Best info I’ve ever received for not being an insider. No timetable was given.
