What is Drew selling? Because whatever it is, it can’t be real. Something just doesn’t feel right with the way he is recruiting.

Haven’t been confident in Garland but if Shittu is deciding now and it’s Vandy, any faith I had of him coming to IU is gone.

Garland will have already decided by the time Shittu does. It won’t have an impact IMO. That being said, I still think he ends up at Vandy. I won’t be too upset if we get Romeo though.

The thing about Durham that stood out most to me is his feel for the game. Durham sees the game a step ahead, evidenced by his passes to Hartman for the 3 and also the kick out to Rob on the flare screen. I can see why Archie thinks he can play PG some this year. His shot will fall. I’m not worried about that. I love his shiftiness and ability to James Harden his way into the lane. That drive for the layup was impressive. I know we have basically nothing to go off of right now, but I see Al definitely getting minutes this year. If you would’ve asked me a month ago, I wouldn’t have thought that to be the case. Pleasantly surprised. Forgot to add, but his D has been really solid. He moves well laterally and keeps his man in front of him. I’ll be watching closely when we play better competition to see how he does.

Forgot to add, but watching a team not turn the ball over 20 times a game is a sight to see. I could get used to this.

My biggest takeaways were the obviously improved D from last year and McSwain. McSwain can really have a role on this year’s team playing exactly like he did today. I’m not as worried about the offense. We missed a lot of bunnies and open shots. I think Rob will break out of his slump here soon as well. Archie also said we’ll be implementing more offensive schemes in the upcoming week. I’m encouraged.

Bloomington shouldn’t be under a warning right now. IU’s Atmospheric science professor is arguing with IU’s twitter account about it lol

They wouldn’t cancel the game for this would they? Only counties I see under a tornado warning are Davies, Knox, and Martin.

He’s supposedly been killing it lately shooting. Let’s hope that translates into game success so he can get some confidence. I’m excited to watch and especially key in on Al and Hartman.

I’ve never had Peegs until a few months ago. They had a buy 1 month, get 3 free I believe. The content is generally good and up to date, but you do see much of the same stuff here. I don’t regret the $2.50 per month I spent. Of course, this board is second to none though. The discussions are 10x better and I really enjoy 90% of the posters here. Back to DG :)

Yeah, not a whole lot we didn’t already know. I’m okay with it. There’s going to be weeks where just not a lot is happening. Next week is going to be really interesting with the Garland decision. I’m sure it will be a roller coaster. I’m really enjoying hearing all this positive Romeo news though. A couple months ago I thought it was a pipe dream. Looking like reality now.

Yup. You could definitely see the flashes he had last season. I was extremely high on Green last year, as were a few others. Really excited to see him thriving so far.
