    Hopefully everyone can focus on the game for a while and forget about Garland. This team needs our support. I’m anxiously looking forward to some actual competition and what our guys will look like. Rotations will be interesting to watch at this point of the season as well. Can’t wait!

    I really try not to get into the ebbs and flows of recruitments but I agree. I don’t think he would announce right before IU’s first game against a ranked opponent. Won’t all of IU’s media be at the game too? Vandy doesn’t have a game that night, either. I just don’t see it.

    I was just playing devil’s advocate because everyone is hanging onto every quote. It was just an example. I have no idea where Garland is going to go or what he is thinking, just like everyone else besides him and his family.

    He actually had been there before for a game during Crean’s tenure. But if we’re reading into quotes, Winston also said Darius had a team in his heart. Heart would point towards the hometown team for me. Thinking with his head would go to IU. I know we’re all looking for every little speck of good news but it’s just not smart to read into every quote the Garlands give.

    Just my opinion, but I think everyone is holding on to that “a few weeks ago” quote too much. It’s probably just an estimate and not supposed to coincide with HH.

    Awesome. I know some people were worried he wouldn’t sign. Weird that no reporters seemed to know he was doing it today though.

    I wasn’t saying he was giving impermissible benefits. I asked what he is selling them. Likely a bunch of bs about getting them to the NBA. Also, this is a message board. People can say/ speculate on whatever they want as long as it’s not racist/homophobic/etc.

    I’m not stooping to any level. Genuinely curious how Vandy has a good shot at getting two top 10 commitments with another top 10 in Romeo being interested. They have no history of this and Bryce Drew has no history of getting anyone to the league. If that doesn’t peak your curiosity idk what to tell you.
