In summary. The IU staff has little to no ties to IU. IU has a culture problem and some think it would be beneficial to bring in IU guys back into the program much like Duke does. I certainly didn’t know that. I don’t think there is anything to support this, especially given how our returning center in Davis was coming off an Achilles tear and hobbling all season. I don’t know if this kid is what IU needs or not but Archie better get it right. He’s an IU fan growing up in the state of Indiana. More importantly to look at though as we talk about being patient and building something, there are a lot of top 100 kids on these teams that started as freshmen and are now upperclassmen. It’s not like these kids all rode the pine for years and then stepped in as juniors and seniors to take their team to the final four. So, when people say that it is important to find kids hat contribute right away, I don’t think it suggests they think those kids will take us to a final four right away but those are the types that do it as upperclassmen Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
