Look all big decisions in large organizations are done “by consensus.” You’re getting input from others. The problem here is how “true” was the consensus. It’s very easy for someone at the top of the food chain to throw their weight around. So I it looks like consensus but is really a bunch of people doing what I say.

Consensus building is all fine and dandy. Here’s a consensus for you: A consensus of the fans think Woodson should be fired. A consensus of high school recruits think Woodson should be fired.

Then the administration, coach and players need to do their ***** jobs. These fans got behind Tim MSB Priller. The fans aren’t the problem.

He went 0 for 30 on recruits this year. Show me one Div 1 program that had zero HS recruits come in, ever. Let alone a Big 10 program. Let alone one with 5 championships. The look is horrendous. QB isn’t Jesus Christ. Sane people will come to their senses and tell him to shut up — here’s looking at you BOT.

It makes perfect sense that you would have an anonymously sourced "Woodson's back" report to lower the temperature while the final 2 weeks of the season play out. Things were extremely intense. We'll be out of the BTT in a week and assuming no NIT there is time to sit down and figure out where the program is going. If the "he's back" report is 100% legit, there is zero reason Dolson's name wouldn't be attached to it. We are being fed a lot of BS. With all that has gone on, there is no way he's back. It's impossible. No sane person keeps him. Woodson's only pitch is he'll do the impossible -- that which has never been done before. It's not happening.

My gut is telling me he's going to fix it. I think there is going to be a "come to Jesus" moment. Can't go into next year like this.

I am not believing that. I'll believe he was caught unprepared when that guy who no longer coaches said no. But that he just decided to go with Woodson without pressure and no additional search -- no way.

I’m more concerned about him being a **** to other programs. Can’t we get him out on “hostel” work environment or something.

If you think he's doing his job visavis recruiting, you're smoking something. And it ain't woody's cigars.

It’s pretty simple. You need 3-4 incoming HS recruits per year. You fill unexpected vacancies via the portal. In 2022 he had Gunn, Banks, JHS and Malik. That’s good. 2023 he had Cupps, MM, and Newton. Not too shabby. In 2024 he has zero, zip, nada. In 2025 he has zero and doesn’t even care to go look. That by all accounts is an epic failure and is damaging to the program. He’s going to need 5-7+ from the portal to even field a team next season. Of the top 50 portal players, even the best programs in the nation only got 2-3. And he has no interest in developing players outside of that top 50. You keep Woodson and the program sinks to depths we haven’t seen since Sampson to Crean.

He has zero interest in that. He wants to take the “easy” way. A team of free agent mercenaries. But he can’t even do that well.

You’re not firing him for “1 bad season.” You’re firing him for the epic failure to build any kind of foundation. By this time he should have a bunch of HS recruits signed for next year and a bunch lined up for next year. He has ZERO. Doesn’t even want to recruit HS players. He’s destroyed IU basketball.

Good morning fellow toxic fans. Hate to tell you, but no way Pearl comes to IU given this situation, dream job or not. It’s Sampson part 2. Why would any sane coach come to this chit show. Need to lock in Dusty May ASAP, before he figures out what a good program looks like. Woodson has to go.
