I'm not sure I what to think of this. Blackmon will be the #1 go-to guy on offense next year with Yogi graduating. He gets plenty of playing time. Just doesn't make sense. I don't give the "he's tired of the IU fans criticism" thing any credence either. If he's that thin-skinned, then he wouldn't last a week in the NBA.

Actually, this loss will have an impact. IU was probably a 3 seed, possibly a 2 with a few wins in the B1G tourney, but this loss now has them in the 4 seed range. Pretty big impact to the NCAA tournament to me as a fan.

And slightly off topic, but Diamond Stone as FOY?  Over Happ?  Not sure about that one and Bryant not even mentioned in the convo.  Interesting.  I didn't think he'd beat out Happ but at least deserved to be mentioned along with Stone, Happ, and Swanigan. 

  Easy to say since I'm obviously an IU fan, but Crean earned this.  Some might argue he had great talent already in place, but this team was looking to go off of the rails early after Maui and Duke.  I've been a critic in the past because when things go bad, you have to look at the top.  Conversely, when things are going great...you have to look at the top as well.  Glad to see him get recognized for the efforts.

His story of Crean asking "Do you play AT Indiana or FOR Indiana". Whew. That was great

His 3 pt shooting really helped spacing this year, but he also added a much needed physicality down low. Wish we had him for 4 years.
