This is good to know and sort of invalidates my earlier point about coach needing to know what buttons to push after a big, emotional win. Sounds like this one is on the players and maybe whoever had scout, unless it really was that poorly executed. That may be the case considering how they came out of halftime.

Woodson will be better when he finds that unlike the NBA, you can’t lose your next game and things be ok. Once he finds the right buttons to push after big, emotional wins, the team culture elevates more. Right now, the team doesn’t know how to sustain momentum. Now I would like to see them win the B1G tour because they will be forced to learn.

Woodson knows, and the fact he mentions the fans tells me he really understands. He has to be better and knows it. Man, they all really squandered an opportunity tonight.

What’s sad and I didn’t want to post this at the beginning of the game…is the fact when Jalen took and missed the three for his first shot of the game after his comments postgame against PU and Murray buried a three I felt it was going to be a much tougher game than anticipated. Even then, this late in the season and from what we HAVE seen, I was not prepared to see the team get curb-stomped at home. Gut check.

Really doesn't matter what seed Purdue gets because their downfall is written in stone for another year. Having them on the 1 line only makes it all the sweeter, and when IU makes the Final Four and Purdue bows out in the Round of 32...they will have absolutely nothing left to say to Hoosier fans. In their period of dominance in the series, the Hoosiers will have had the most successful season of late and CMW's 2nd year. This shall be good :)

That’s the exact kind of Wisconsin loss the Hoosiers needed to see so they’re extra hungry at home on Thursday ;-) Illinois, after crapping the bed at Ohio State, might just show up to Mackey wanting to rid themselves of that sour taste in their mouths. So far, so good. Hoosiers must hold serve.

Would be great for Wisconsin to lose tomorrow at Michigan so they HAVE to show up for an even bigger game against Purdue. Their tourney hopes will be on the line and that will make it even harder for Purdue to come out victorious and get their B1G title. Could the Illini pull the upset in Mackey? Not likely but wow would that be sweet if the Hoosiers can hold serve at home for the final two and sneak in to a B1G title because of it.
