One thing I hadn't thought too much about until late last night is. If RoJo or Yogi, even God forbid both were in foul trouble. Our backcourt would be awfully thin! Do we think would be ready/can handle significant minutes? Thoughts?

I think one of the biggest things on the defensive end that has helped since JBJ has been out is our length at multiple positions. Originally we had went back to that 3 guard lineup and that killed us defensively, IMO. Now we never play more than 2 guards at once and there are times, see O$U game. That we played RoJo, Morgan or OG, Troy, Hartman and Bryant for some stretches. Multiple 6'6 to 6'8 or taller guys on the floor at once!

See no benefit to him being on the floor at this time. Dating back to the Notre Dame game. He is 6-29 from 3pt and 7-31 overall. Other than the defense staying with him to respect his jumper. Really doesn't help IU. Other negative from today is Max, kid looked so lost out there. Overall I'm impressed with our progress in playing team defense. After our win the other night against Wisky I still wasn't overly impressed but after seeing the MD vs Wisky game yesterday, I'm starting to feel better about us. We are most definitely a better "team" without JBJ. On both ends of the floor! Really hate to single one kid out and he is an unbelievable talent offensively. Hopefully he can understand defensive positioning and etc while sitting out. The biggest part of our improvement on the defensive end is TB. Defending that P-N-R significantly better. Also you can see they are communicating more on that end. Love seeing our effort right now.

To say RoJo doesn't look "college ready" is a bit absurd IMO. For the most part I think he lets the game come to him and doesn't force his own shot. He's looking to make the next pass to get a better shot. If he's open that's when he shoots. I like that about him. Defensively, the best perimeter defender that we have! What would he have to do for you to consider him "college ready??" These last couple of games (esp last nite) he seemed a lil reluctant to shoot the ball. Always seemed to he was always 2nd guessing whether or not to shoot. Idk why, he's shooting 51% for deep this season

When Yogi got fouled before that commercial break I thought man we haven't shot not 1 FT yet. This game was so hard to watch. I've became so disinterested in Hoosier basketball that I almost fell asleep it was so bad. It was good to see our defense playing better. Still a lot of work to do

I was happy to see that we only had 5 TO's in the 2nd half. And was able to force 9. Other than the FT's, enjoyed watching the 2nd half. Good to see OG get some more run. Really think Morgan needs more as well. Love his bball IQ

I agree with most of what you say but 13 wins? No way! I know our conference schedule is extremely soft here but still we don't sniff 13. That's how bad we are. I've been the biggest yogi fan until the middle part of last season. Im getting sick and tired of seeing yogi, JBJ or Troy throw the ball to the other team and not make an effort to get back. Just kinda light jog it back. I really think our lineup is without him. I'd probably start the next few games with.. RoJo Hartman Morgan Anunoby Bielfeldt I don't care if we lose by 20 or more. I honestly think I like watching the 2008-09 team more. At least this lineup would go down with some effort!!
