    He shot 70% from the line in high school and his freshman year at BSU. Last year he shot 54%. Not sure what's happened to him.

    The Loyola game, I think we got down 15-0 to start the game and didn't score for more than six minutes. That was also before Maurice Creek was injured.

    Do we have enough talent to be a national contender? No. But we should have enough in this program by this point to not be seeing what we've seen the first two games. It just doesn't make sense.

    We made 2 threes in the first half and gave up 6. Are we ever going to stop seeing this crap? We don't have a senior All-American dominating underneath anymore, so we have to kill it inside the arc and from the line to make up for our three-point deficit. We don't shoot free throws well, so...

    Well, we did this to some pretty good teams a year ago. My overreaction is that this is an early warning sign that the success we achieved last year likely won't be repeated. I didn't expect a win, but I also didn't expect us to look completely outmatched.

    Cameron, Lynch and Wilson were fired/removed after beating Purdue. Wouldn't mind seeing that trend continue.

    I've kind of given up on the Colts this season, so regardless of how this game unfolds, I'm just going to take a moment to appreciate that I lived long enough to see the Patriots go back to being a poverty franchise.

    I've tried to stay out of Dakich conversations and just let Dakich be Dakich, but yeah, that is garbage of the highest order. What a miserable human being he's become.

    This game went over 4 hours last year and the final score was 23-20.

    PSU scores with 2 minutes left to cut the lead to 9. Two-point try fails and they're still down two scores. That's why you don't go for 2 until after the second TD. It always amazes me how many people, coaches included, don't seem to grasp this.

    Total overreactions from game one, but here they are: our backcourt still isn't talented enough to compete on a national scale, and at times in the second half we still looked like an Archie Miller team, which is kind of alarming to me.
