Of course there's apathy. We suck again and show no promise of improvement. All the things the sunshine pumpers told us we'd see with this coach and team have fallen flat. We have an AD who thought hiring Mike Woodson was a good idea and keeping him 4 years was equally brilliant. Then he decided to hire a guy who appears to be just as bad.
I'm sure enthusiasm will build if we ever become competent again on a national level, the same way it did with women's volleyball. But that's what it is at this point. People couldn't care less with this poorly run program right now. The fact that people don't have apathy at this point surprises me more than those that do.
At least we've become so poor and predictable at basketball that it's become easy to win the prediction league!
I'm torn on home games in the CFP. A big part of me says they should all be neutral sites like March Madness. Split the stadium down the middle at the end zones with the fans.
I know this won't change because all the talking heads love it, just thinking out loud
I assume his dad is *that* Jason Gardner? He and Sean May were the first recruits I hated for leaving Indiana to go win titles elsewhere. I still hold some resentment I guess because I cringed when I saw the name.
Come to IU Junior and clear your family's name with me!
Agreed. I feel like Oklahoma has a lot more potential in these playoffs and I expect them to thoroughly beat Alabama tonight, but they are very flawed too
I was in the golf course yesterday in St Petersburg wearing an IU hat. People all day brought up our football program...Notre Dame fans, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Ohio State. They all came up to me and started talking football. These are exciting times
Jeez Dolson has killed our basketball program. He kept Woody too long and made a terrible hire with Devries. It's a good thing he got lucky with Cignetti because otherwise he should be run out if town today
