  1. They deserve to lose every game just for coming up with that.
  2. Interesting statistic: "This is the first time basketball’s ticket sales eclipsed $11 million, and this was the fifth consecutive year that total has been above $10 million."
  3. The "one and done" model was bound to fail from the very start, almost like a built-in destruct date. Everything eventually balances itself out, and after two decades the college game is course-correcting itself. It's a coaches and team sport, not superstars. Last year, Zion was the exception that kind of proved the rule.
  4. 100% sure this is a lie. Was taken from a ridiculously awful article with bad grammar and an obviously tacked-on aside while recapping about the actual game.
  5. It was a weird and totally out of left-field jab that didn't fit anywhere into the actual article. Not even to mention the article itself is terribly written and reads more like a high school essay. How this guy writes for Sports Illustrated is insane to me.
  6. I'm glad someone brought up that SI article, because I read it last night and oh boy, it's a hot mess, almost completely unreadable. I trust it about as much as I trust any Spartan writer.
  7. That's what I meant, gotta shuffle them all around. It would be exhausting being a pUKe fan.
  8. This may be the first of a few.
  9. The way TJD and Brunk play off each other is really great to watch. Last night I saw a cohesive team (aside from when Green was on the court doing his NYC playground stuff). Brunk is my favorite on this team, hands down
  10. 100% agree. I don't think anyone wins it outright this year...way too crazy.
  11. I didn't mind M$U so much until I met an alumni years ago who stayed with my roommate a few days. This was right after IU had owned them under Crean in 2011-2012, and the guy was insufferable. Whenever I'd see him in passing he'd make a snide remark about the two program's respective histories and would not shut up. Finally I had shut him up. Then the abuse came out and it cemented my hatred of that program. The entire athletic department should have been fired from the top on down because you can't tell me the coaches don't speak to each other and know exactly what's going on. The fact that Izzo (and everyone else) still has a job makes my skin crawl. So yeah, my Hatred Top 3 goes to pUKe, M$U, Turdue.
  12. I did the exact same thing, then turned on Fisch and everything fell into place. I’ve actually found myself listening to way more games than watching this season.
  13. This game kinda proved that teams can get hot and go on 3-point shooting runs against us and as long as IU can get it inside and play some good defense, they can weather the storm. Great win but man I am bummed that they’re just now finding this intensity. Better late than never. 15-4. Go Hoosiers!
  14. This is gonna be embarrassing. I’d rather M$U just lead the whole game than this.
  15. Given this team’s track record, definitely no reason to be.
  16. M$U fans LIVID. I love it. Disgusting program.
  17. Glad everyone is optimistic. I’ve got a bad feeling about this one and I hope it’s all just me being paranoid.
  18. One of my biggest regrets was not going to a game when I was there as a student...but in fairness, it was the last days of Mike Davis.
  19. Very very nervous about this game. A blowout at Assembly Hall would just be crushing for morale. And M$U isn't just gonna win by a slim margin, they'll either lose or blow us out
  20. Stealing then scoring a point is still allowed in regulation, no matter what time is on the clock. KU doesn't have a leg to stand on (or a stool to sit on).
  21. Great article about the brawl and current state of the NCAA https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/colleges/bill-self-called-kansas-basketball-fight-an-embarrassment-so-thats-what-it-took/2020/01/22/1bc04f92-3d19-11ea-b90d-5652806c3b3a_story.html
  22. IUPUI, IUS, IUK, IUN, IUE, IUPUC, Hanover, Valpo, Vincennes, Southern Indiana...basically any Indiana team not named Purdue, Notre Dame, or Butler. But actually, probably Texas Tech. I like Chris Beard and I hope they beat Kentucky just like UofL.
  23. Kansas is such a weird program. Their fans think they somehow own the rights to the game of basketball.
  24. I definitely don’t want him, I think we are better off tbh. Just asking. I think the consensus is correct, that ship has thankfully sailed.
  25. Fair question: does anyone think Archie would take Keion if he did transfer?
