110% agree. I think if Archie lands some kind of shooter, has TJD/Rome/Phin/Race/Brunk all firing and the new guys coming in...and STILL has the same issues, then it’s time for him to go. Next season there will be zero excuses by anybody, and everything will be laid out on the table.
That’s why (again) I’m not fully in the “Fire Archie” camp just yet. Next year is the absolute last chance.
I mean there was the preseason NIT. I think a B1G tournament before the conference is actually a good idea. Kinda pointless after a winner is declared in my book.
pUKe, Dook, Louisville, UNCheat, Kansas, M$U, P$U (sorry couldn’t think of clever wordplay for all of them) all deserve to be fired into the sun but nothing is going to happen, ever.
And wait....Players from Northwestern? I read that right?
I’ve had anxiety attacks since I was 10 years old, and that was the early 90’s (My dad and grandma both had them along with depression, but of course no one diagnosed it back then). I think it’s more prevalent now because we understand it more as a legitimate illness, and it’s very treatable.
I will say that I can’t imagine kids and social media and how that exacerbates preexisting conditions. The pressure must be enormous.
OK back to basketball for me
Really appreciate it! I’ve had it about 90% under control the last few years or so (especially once I stopped drinking), but it rears its ugly head every now and again. In high school my anxiety was so bad it started affecting me physically, and when I was in Bloomington I’d have trouble going to classes because of it. I’d take a knee injury or whatever that would heal with time over depression and anxiety any day!
I have mental health issues and it sucks. It’s literally a chemical imbalance in the brain, so it’s 100% physical and not something you can just get over. Even if you’re great at something and know deep down you are, serotonin and neurotransmitters and all that kinda stuff mess with you big time. Hope he gets better, it’s no joke.
Burn the memory of this game into your brains and remember that this was rock f'ing bottom. Hopefully they figure it out (which I though they had already did)
Would've been nice for pUKe to lose to the worst team in the SEC. Funny how they seem to always lose the bulk of their games before conference play starts.
I have driven on it before, believe it or not. When I was up there for a minute I had to drive a friend's car from West Orange and it was....an experience.
My neighbor thought the exact same thing about me haha. I got a really bad feeling when it didn't go down and they got that long rebound. A bonehead play that became the tipping point.
