I still need to see some sort of consistency from IUFB. If we beat Wake next week then I'm going to be very excited for this coming season. :) Cannot have a letdown game.

This is a huge win no doubt. IMO WKU is a top 35-40 team. Their offense is one of the best in the nation and Doughty is an absolute stud. WKU is a much better team than Wake Forest. Our season hinges on consistency, we cannot have a let down game against a Wake team we should beat. I am confident we will be able to run the ball all over Wake and control the clock. Don't want to get ahead of myself, but this game shows me that we have what it takes to beat PSU, UMD and Rutgers, while putting up a good fight against Michigan and Iowa. We need our young guys on defense to grow during the season and keep running the ball! Football is a QB's game, and we have a very good one behind a great line with two excellent running backs. WRs have been a very pleasant surprise so far. IMO, we have a better QB and line than many teams we will face this year, which means we'll always have a chance.

Tough question to answer now. WKU is a very solid team they have a stud QB and an up and coming coach. Very explosive offense, it will be a good test for our team. The next two weeks will tell us how good this team is. Have to be able to beat WKU and Wake to believe we have any chance against UMD, PSU or Rutgers. The state of the division is very encouraging. PSU's offense is terrible, and UMD is in a rebuilding year and has miserable QB play. We should be able to easily out score these teams. Rutgers is a winnable game. MSU and OSU are losses. Michigan may be beatable, but I don't like the matchup of our defense against their power offense. Same goes with Iowa. If we start 4-0, and assuming we keep the Bucket, we just have to win one game of UMD, PSU, or Rutgers. Win all three and that's eight wins, which is best case scenario in my opinion.

No way, BIG difference between ULL and SIU. ULL's head coach Mark Hudspeth has a career .692 winning percentage in five years with the school, one conference title, is 4-0 in bowl games, and has turned down multiple power 5 conference jobs. The guy is going to be the next LSU head coach. SIU is an FCS team.

Long ways away to February 3. If he puts up another big year I'd imagine some of the big boys get involved. Regardless I love the recruiting effort.

We attempted 786 three pointers last season, and averaged the most three point attempts in the B1G, Crean's teams live and die by the three. I'll take as many three point shooters as we can get.

With Stevens flipping to PSU and our depth chart being wide open at QB, maybe we are more attractive to Peters if he wants to get on the field early.

Ouch this one seriously hurts. Can't lose an in state guy like this. If Wilson can't land a big name transfer its going to be very tough to win the next few years without depth at the most important position on the field. God forbid but if Sudfeld goes down again in 2015 there is no way the team can make progress. This is concerning as far as Wilson goes. He can't even sell to QB recruits the idea of building the offense around them.

This would be a very bad decommit. We always talk about how we have to keep kids instate. Losing a top, instate QB recruit (for a second time...) is not good momentum. Wilson might have been able to survive this sort of loss early in his tenure, but considering our QB situation with the injuries and transfers, he cannot afford losing a prospect like this in the scheme of building his team. As it is now Stevens could easily be the 2016 starter. After four years we shouldn't be at the point where we are so reliant upon an incoming QB recruit. For an offensive guru as a coach, we should have a stable of good system fit quarterbacks who are capable to lead the team if the main guy goes down. We do not, and given QB is the most important position on the field, it severely hurts the overall development of the team. Not having a starting caliber QB ready might as well be considered starting over. We can talk about getting another prospect, but it would be very difficult to get someone as good as Stevens from the 2015 class. And 2016, Wilson might not have the luxury of being able to sell to a kid we are going to build the offense around you...

Diamont seems like a great kid, but I have yet to see a D1 caliber pass, much less for the B1G. I feel bad for the defense because they are playing their butts off, but the passing game is absolutely pathetic right now.
