Just so everyone knows, I'm 1 for 1 on recruits when i start the thread :)

this stinks.   On one hand, you would think NFL teams would be wary of picking Howard due to his injuries.  Playing another season at IU and being healthy for it would show he can stay healthy and help his stock.   On the other hand, he could get injured even worse and lose out.   Guess he's hoping teams will overlook all the time has missed.  Seems like he is the RB version of Bob Sanders.  Duels out pain but always injured because of it.

As mentioned, Lynch inherited a better team when he started and got to a bowl game with Hep's recruits.  The team dropped like a rock the next year.   Lynch introduced IU fans to losing to MAC schools, never scoring in the 2nd half and getting humiliated by Wisconsin and other big programs.   We may not have the record but Wilson has us scoring in the second half of games and playing good teams closely.  We've been giving lots of really good teams all they can handle.  Wins will come under Wilson.

That was the issue with going with a 3-4 DC with personnel brought in for a 4-3.  It's going to take a little longer than normal to get the players you need for the new system.   Patience is a virtue.

I wouldn't get your hopes up too much but great we are even in the discussion.   However, Rivals only has him as a 3 star???  Not that I would turn away a 3 star but maybe Cooper was just being nice to his buddy by calling him a 5 star.

That stinks.  I was in the Hundred from '99 to '04 and the whole band went to WL on the years we played at PU.
