  If #4 is right then #1-#3 are pretty much meaningless.   I don't see Crean leaving on his own.  He's not going to able to go to greener pastures with how IU has been doing recently and he won't leave for a lower level job just to get away from the naysayers.  Plus, coaches tend to have big egos at his level and will always think they are just around the corner from turning it around.

About as trustworthy as ADs that feel it necessary to state that they are 100% behind their coach and then proceed to fire them a few months later

is he the backup plan to Brandon Peters?     Peters is high on IU supposedly and ranked much higher.  I would think we won't take 2 QBs in the class.

Not sure why any recruit would touch Syracuse at this point with all of the infractions piling up.   Of course, maybe the thought is the NCAA will do nothing again.

wish they would just do away with verbals and have an early signing period.   You'd learn real quick who was really committed and who was just saving a spot in case nothing else came around.

I like the matte red helmet with black IU pitchfork but I would have done white pitchfork instead of the black.

Brandon Knight cancelled his visit.   Rumor is that it is due to his parents not being able to come and that another visit will happen in the future.   He visits PU on the 19th/20th.

McNeil is the obvious one.   IU is still going after Demarquis Gates, who is committed to Ole Miss.  Not sure if Booth has any connections with him though, so that may be wishful thinking.   It's not a given that all of them are committed elsewhere or that we're only talking about 4 stars.  It will be interesting to see how things shake out...that's for sure.   Back to back good classes can only mean good things.

He had a runin with police (obstructing official police business) and was kicked off the team.   Apparently the 2 OSU stars that got in trouble with police were only suspended while OSU made a scapegoat out of the freshman.   Hopefully it's a lesson learned and IU will be the benefactor.
