    Jokes aside, their rankings last year were 154-KenPom, 158-Sagarin,and 199-RPI. This is the kind of non-marquee opponent that most of us were looking for.   OK...back to the Morehead jokes. :laugh:

    Last weekend I was in Atlanta and the only thing sportswise I got to see in my hotel was the softball world series. From the small sample size I saw, softball is all about pitching and in the few games I saw, pitch count and rest days mean nothing. It's good to finally have an ace on our side.

    The best option is to just avoid scheduling schools in conferences like the SWAC and MEAC. Even the worst teams in the MAC or Horizon League would fare better for our SOS and if they happen to have a decent season, their RPI can creep under 200.

    It's not good for this potential team when a search of the owner's name yields this page in the first page of results*. Where's the money coming from if they don't draw anybody to see Panathinaikos, Barcelona BB, etc?   *It is good for Btown Banners to get in the first page of search results.

    Alex Rodriguez hit his 660th homer last night, tying Willie Mays. In his contract, he's supposed to get $6 mil for reaching that milestone along with other future HR milestones but the Yanks don't want to pay it.   Let the muckraking and legal wrangling begin!

    Reading other threads, I think the scholly situation has to be figured out before any announcement is made; assuming that the staff told TB to keep it on the hush until then. Even with that, one of the insiders should've probably tweeted that the LOI was sent in by now.
