Creans lineups and substitutions have been mind boggling today.

I hate Maryland. They have to be the best team that plays down to their competition and does just enough to win at the end. I hope we are unconscious from 3 when we play them and we just bury them!

When this team defends with focus and determination it is a really fun thing to watch.

I agree. And he plays hard and competes when he's out there even if his shots aren't falling like they normally do. Defenses are still reacting to him as deep threat so it's not like he's a waste of space out there. He will regain his form in time. Every great shooter goes through slumps from time to time.

Thoughts and prayers. ALS is a very ugly thing.

First of all, good game glad we got the win. Guys showed a lot of toughness and grit I thought. Second, why can't Troy guard anybody? He is long, athletic, even if he gives up a little foot quickness to his man he still should be able to alter the shot of a shorter player. Two plays stick in my head where his man, a much shorter player takes him down the lane and gets a layup over him. Someone needs to work on angles and body positioning with him, he's got so much God given talent it's frustrating seeing much less talented players taking advantage of him on that end of the floor.

You are correct. I just get frustrated with quick contested 3's and unforced turnovers. They make my blood boil. Two of my biggest pet peeves when I did a little coaching. Don't get me started on matador defense....

It is so hard for me to watch this team play defense. We make mediocre and bad players look like great players. Then on the offensive end---the end that we are suppose to be so great at mind you--we are careless with the ball and never run any of our great shooters off of screens to get open looks. It's all ball screens and dribbling. What happened to smart, fundamentally sound basketball? That's what IU's tradition is built on and it's what we need to get back too.

Merry Christmas to everyone! We are celebrating tonight with my in-laws and my mother-in-law got every family matching pajamas and everyone was less than thrilled, my clan lucked out we got matching IU ones!
