    Yep…. Need to do something to change the narrative. Branding is taking massive hits by not acting like the big boys. This has been my message. Momentum, branding, track record, off season wins matter. A few weeks to see how much this staff has learned and cares.

    Just for the record. I actually like him. I like a lot o bout what he represents. Just want him to be better. His portal efforts and choices disappointed me last year. Felt like a wasted year from jump. That has added concern. But in general, I like him, and really want him to do well. Waiting for results on and off the court to indicate improvements.

    Another school at odds with family on Twitter RN. Jasper Johnson’s uncle or whatever going full Woodson on the fanbase. Id like to take Malachi Moreno off their hands for them.

    The fact he tried for so many elite 26s and didn’t land a single one. The fact his scout led to recruiting and building a team that was never going to be good. He built an entire team. Recruited 1 good player.

    I’m gonna be a little extra pissed when UNC brings in a heralded and proven coach. After IU had 3 tries and underwhelmed each and every time.

    To an extent. But can’t totally “overpay”. Need 2-3 top level players though. Many schools have that. All the great ones do. Some have 5-7 of those guys. We are gonna find the portal expensive again and struggle to build what we want.

    Who can Indiana convince? That becomes the most important question there is. Some of these coaches seem to run circles around DeVries in the shark tank. I like getting those players but it has all the feels where he will need to get his type of guy. I wanted to be able to recruit off the top of the list, but I don’t know if DeVries has it in him.

    Exactly. The fans reactions are universally the same online across all teams. (Predictable stuff) Just a difference in quantity.

    Mikel Browns dad going at it with Louisville fans on Twitter. He would have fit in great with Woody’s team. Lol Seriously though, these parents need classes on ignoring social media and to ignore all that crap. Im sure its hard, but he’s gonna be a lottery pick in months. Why argue online with the likes of us/fans?

    Jackson Shelsted in portal. I joked about this when he was in town for the game. But MAYBE???? I know he’s a west coast kid but who knows. He would be exciting.
