I got tix for the Eastern Michigan game for my dad's b-day. Now my 5 y.o. son said watching HH that he wants tix for Christmas, looks like I will be getting tix for the Youngstown State game.

My God! I go to bed earlier and all hell breaks loose! I'm at a loss for words with Jerry Meyer, I literally thought hell had froze over when walked outside to get in my truck down here in So. Indiana with my windshield frosted pretty good!

I understand that, but I was thinking along the lines of who? Maybe Curtis Jones? I am not totally sold on CJ yet. I thought he showed some of the same problems at HH that he displayed last year. If Al proves his worth and starts to take mins from CJ, I could see him transferring. Could Juwan go Pro, only time will show. I really think DD has a lot to prove this year and don't see him going yet, unless he just absolutely dominates this year. I hope Phinese stays no matter what, we need that 4 year PG that holds down the fort. I'm not really sure what is going to happen, just wanted to see if anyone else is thinking the same way I do.

With all of the steam that seems to be building with DG and Romeo, if they do indeed both sign, how do any of you think the scholarship situation works out?

Saw this early this morning, but wanted to see if it got any more news before I mentioned it. Sounds like everything is still fluid and we won't know too much until each investigation into each school is wrapped and either changes are filled or the FBI hands each case to the NCAA for violations. We could be on a train of information that spans months or even years.

That sounds like a serious subpoena with that statement of failing to comply!

You should hear the Cards fans down here, its laughable! "You need to check the sources, Courier Journal is full of it, CJ is trash don't waste your money, no way that is true...." To top off the Pitino money, Jurich is paid twice as much as the next highest paid AD in the country ($5.4 million taxable income). The school also pays his bar/food tab, 3 golf course membership (one is $25K, another $27K a year)! I honestly think this school is in need of a cleansing from the top to bottom. His listed income last year was more than the university budgeted for its departments of Biology ($3.3 million), English ($4 million), History ($2.4 million) or Mathematics ($3.5 million). That's pretty sad considering the school is at risk of losing its accreditation!

Its Louisville, thinking is not a requirement. I mean come on look at all the other problems at the school, possibly losing accreditation, re-financing that fancy new arena that the taxpayers forked out a huge sum of money for, Hookergate, Adidasgate, board of trustees.... This school is in the middle of a full blown melt-down!

Louisville ESPN radio just announced that Padgett has been linked to recently raided sports agent Andy Miller. Miller supposedly represented Padgett as an advisor or something while or after his playing career at Louisville.

I live down here and work with a mother of a student that goes to school with Romeo and have heard nothing different from what you say. Romeo is said to be a stellar person, student, and athlete.
