Bucket Game on the night of Black Friday on NBC. That is wickedly cool. That gives us two Friday night games with the other coming against ISU in September. Open with Old Dominion at 2:30 and Kennesaw State the week after at noon.

Cuban Center runs IUHoosiers, but other than that you’re spot on. It moves at a snail’s pace and is largely an afterthought. Usually the specific team pages with regard to roster and staff pages gets handled by the SIDs, however, and those folks are pretty good. Which makes me think the lack of updates is administrative/by design instead of lazy this time.

Brunson is so, so good but if I’m a Knicks fan I’m furious with how often his foul baiting led to stupid turnovers. At least 2 in OT and plenty of examples of it leading to bad possessions without one showing up in the box score As a Pacers fan? Flop away brother.

Transfer Portal w/IU Interest

Anyone volunteering anyone else to wear the Bison suit was not in the stands for the Charlotte game last season. -
Don’t really care about the Mavs getting it other than that idiot Nico Harrison getting the satisfaction after all the idiotic stuff he said. He doesn’t deserve to manage the team with that pick.

2025 season ticket process/tiers/seat donation info....
Hovadipo replied to eddy4iu's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
No need to play devil’s advocate. This is exactly what I was saying lol. I think it’s BS, but I also understand college sports economics and will admit I don’t have an answer for it. Alienating your most loyal fans might sting in the long run, especially if (and hopefully it doesn’t) water finds its level with IU football. -
2025 season ticket process/tiers/seat donation info....

They hit the cheap seats hard. My two order confirmations; top last year bottom for this year. Also, through re-seating the entire stadium this offseason, those that just have football tickets are getting booted down the priority list for people that have had basketball points build up over the years and are getting in on football now. I don’t have that issue because I’m not very picky where I sit at Memorial, but the post you’re referencing may be dealing with that more than the money piece. -
The Netflix doc on the Malice was good too. Most involved were interviewed for it, including the involved fans. Reggie, Artest, and O'Neal were on it at least. I watched it happen live too (which was random, I didn't grow up in an NBA house but for some reason my dad and I had it on) but was pretty young and didn't completely understand how good that Pacers team was at the time. Over the years obviously I've learned what that all meant and then the documentary packaged all of that up into an hour or so. Also, if you listen to the right episodes, Jackson tells some wild stories about those 2000s Pacers teams he was on. The Al Harrington episode specifically had some good stuff. The show is a gold mine for NBA stories from that time period.

Highly recommend if you haven't watched this yet.

This is oddly one thing that IUFB was ponying up for even before the Cig hire. They paid Ballou and Rhea handsomely and when they took off for Bama, went out and grabbed Wellman who was far from cheap. Hopefully we don't have to replace Owings for a long time.

That would require being able to read.

Nate knows his stuff too, especially with QBs. Nothing is gospel when it comes to prospect scouting, but I really respect his opinion.

Kurtis’ rights were picked by Saskatchewan in the CFL draft. Basically, he can head north if he doesn’t gain footing in the NFL and it’s a lotto ticket for the CFL team. He’d be elite in that league and would line up against his brother.

I’m starting to like him and I hate it. Edit: AI makes Brad look dangerously close to John C Reilly.

You watch your mouth. At one time the Bloomington Target had a Pizza Hut Express in it. Still might, been a while.

(2026) LB Henry Ohlinger to INDIANA

I remember when a previous staff wanted Stevie Scott at LB and we saw how that worked out. Nice to have options! -
He didn't start college until later on. His freshman year at Duquesne was 2020.

CBM is a fun player to watch, but an absolute loose cannon that I'd have no interest in. Hoping to just continue watching that roller coaster from afar. -

I saw Jaydn Ott may enter (or already has?) too. Getting ugly out there at Cal. Edit: already has committed to Oklahoma lol
