I like Claxton too. There’s some untapped skill there from his UGA days that would be fascinating to see Rick get his hands on. I love Myles, especially the guy, but I’m not sure how much sense it makes for him or Indy after last night the more I chew on it. I think that decision will let us know where they stand on Benn too. Next season is going to be really weird.

I hadn’t considered this yet, but it’s a major wrinkle. Pacers are still a playoff team in 25-26 imo, but does Myles want to chance that? From the Pacers perspective, they have a rapidly approaching decision to make on Mathurin too which depending on what happens with Myles is a 2nd apron discussion. Spooky.

They’re not, but the inference seems to be they should give up since the “refs are cheating” (???) instead of controlling the controllables, like rebounding and taking care of the ball.
-
Throwing a fit instead of controlling what you can control is a heater too. Keep posting through it.
-
Complain about the refs all you want but if the Pacers aren’t going to get them off the boards and keep handing them fast breaks, calls won’t matter.

Numb. And at what point does ESPN stop f**king showing it?

I’ve heard enough about ratings to last me a friggin’ lifetime. The TV networks have already paid! This series that is the apocalypse for ratings nerds has been bought and paid for by The Mouse! Does anyone actually think that this series is going to hurt the next TV deal? I promise it won’t. The NBA will survive. It has bigger problems to worry about than tripping bassackwards into the most entertaining Finals in about a decade.

Not super surprising if you listen to her talk. There’s some serious country in that voice.

Swagu’s son??? Looks just like him. -
Oh, for sure. And I'm admittedly not even a big TJ fan, but it very much came off in the "loogit the spunky lil white guy, how cute" sense.

The quick turnaround is huge for the Pacers imo. OKC was absolutely worn out with about 8 minutes left last night. In the probably 60+ games I've watched this season, I don't remember seeing the Pacers look that tired at any point. Disinterested, sure, but not flat out exhausted. Feels like Rick is once again playing the long con on an unexpecting victim.

Mike Breen sounds like he’s giving a eulogy as he signs off. Maybe one day his Knicks will matter.

They gave Chris Denari the 2nd quarter call on Pacers radio tonight. Absolutely love that.

“How does a guy that’s 6’2” 190 pounds makes his way into the NBA?” is a direct quote from Doris Burke about TJ McConnell. Say what you mean, Doris.

He usually does this within a couple weeks of the tournament that’s being played. He probably had friendlier greens, but I’d bet the rough was still in “omg look how tall the rough is” mode before they trim it for the tournament.

Here's a guy playing off a 7 breaking 90. I'm kinda shocked he did it, because he's struggled at this challenge at some "easier" courses. I mostly share this because I shout to anyone that will listen that this is a Mt Rushmore YT channel, golf or otherwise. Especially a few years back when he did a long Scotland series. He's a filmmaker by trade, so his take on golf content is worlds better than most for those that appreciate that type of thing.

Sicko.

JT said it best, "if they finish..." There will be professionals that get danger close to 90 tomorrow and Friday.

Love the new video challenge rule. It’s been really good for the NBA. Now if they can just make the finger twirl to signal a review binding, we’ll really be cooking. That rivals the VAR signal in soccer for “infuriating things that players do.”

You have to take them up on it next season. I had always enjoyed hockey as an outsider but never really cared (like you said, the overlap with football and basketball)…then I saw an NHL game down on the glass and it completely shattered my sports worldview. I spent the first period cackling like an idiot and I’ve been a full-on fan for about 10 years now. Hands down the nuttiest sport to see the pros play at eye level. Also, Enterprise is just an excellent place to see a game.

This is the first night in a long time where it’s sinking in that the pre-football dead zone is rapidly approaching. Absolutely nothing on. I’m soaking up every minute of hockey and basketball I can for the next couple weeks.

Caruso played quite a bit for the Lakers bubble title team. TB technically is an NBA champion too (Denver) and logged 0:29 in the Finals lol.

Special.

Nembhard has been horrendous in this series.
