  1. Just peak IUBB off-season... We are all a bunch of lunatics', just really sick in the mind. And I freaking love every second of it haha.
  2. Why did I read this with Bill Walton's voice?
  3. I'm trying to not let myself get too excited here...It makes logical sense to me to choose IU. Why decommit from Duke and choose another school where playing time will be about on par, with a likelihood you come off the bench. At IU, he starts day 1 and has a significant role and a chance to hear his name called early next year in the draft...but at the end of the day, Kansas and Self are enough alone to tilt the scale.
  4. Wonder when he will set his decision date for. Man this would be a huge get...
  5. Now this I trust... Bring it home Woody!
  6. Figured, but wanted to check. I'm a little skeptical of twitter user 'Ble55ed" breaking this news. He tagged Slater and 247hoops, neither of which have confirmed this. Not saying he will visit there...but I need another source to get my hopes up here.
  7. Now the kid is going through the draft process despite not playing a minute of college basketball. Definitely odd he couldn't earn a single minute, even in garbage time for them.
  8. I think the radio in that picture has been in there since 1987....had one of those in our kitchen growing up. what the heck is that haha.
  9. Not shocked at all...and would be surprised if this isn't happening at every school across the country. Sports betting is so accessible and has been moved out of the bookies basement and into the mainstream of sports culture. Hell, ESPN runs and discusses betting lines on their programs, and then flips over to college games. Will be interested to see if these student athletes were betting on their own games, other teams or other sports entirely.
  10. Corso - .378 overall, .354 conference Wyche - .273 overall, .222 conference Mallory - .473 overall, .376 conference Cameron - .327 overall, .300 conference DiNardo - .229 overall, .125 conference, and 1 mediocre restaurant Hoeppner - .391 overall, .250 conference Lynch - .388 overall, .188 conference Wilson - .321 overall, .167 conference Allen - .429 overall, .327 conference
  11. Personally, I've always been more of a Bo McMillin, Madison Gonterman and James Horne fan. Although Gonterman never beat Purdue and Horne split with them. Bo was the guy, got us our first big ten conference title. All kidding aside...looking back at our coaches and records, and it's just sad. McMillin is the only coach with a .500 or better conference record. He was also .561 overall, had an undefeated team and is the last coach in our history with a winning record, but that takes us back to 1934-1947 time frame. Since then, the best conference record is Mallory at .376, behind Allen at .327. Poor Bob Hicks was 1-8 overall and 0-6 in conference...followed behind ole DiNardo at 8-27 .229 overall and 3-21 .125 in conference. Just Brutal haha.
  12. Someone help me here. Averaged 2.3 pts last year at Miami….looks like purely a bench depth move. Can he shoot? At 6’9 what type of player is he? EDIT: went back and watched some highlights. He looks athletic, long. Can dribble and attack the rim for his size (good spin move). Form on the limited shots looks good. Don’t see why he couldn’t up those avgs. for us next year.
  13. Is the James transfer real? One post on his account has me wondering. Would be a heck of a journey that would put the playbook rumors to bed haha.
  14. Yuck, I hate sports bras and shorts. As a father of three daughters, I feel compelled to go on the record. But did you happen to get any photos that I can use as education for them on what not to wear?
  15. Ware confirmed it on his instagram and twitter also I believe. Bunch of other big names confirming as well.
  16. If Woody gets him to the league he can sell what he did for TJD and Ware to every big man recruit forever. Although I’d love him to stick around awhile haha. Huge get for the staff and awesome news on a Monday.
  17. And I said...."Not saying its a direct comparison regarding skillset, but he just reminds me of a guy that has been on those teams historically and been a thorn in our side". Dalton Knecht is white. The players I named are white. Thank you for making me aware.
  18. Point is, THORN IN OUR SIDE. I want him! Come on guys, let me have this one ha-ha.
  19. Well rounded, athletic, versatile and can get a bucket on their own. Not saying its a direct comparison regarding skillset, but he just reminds me of a guy that has been on those teams historically and been a thorn in our side. As of late, Payton Sandfort, Joe Weiskamp, Jarrod Uthoff, Tyler Wahl, Sam Dekker, Bronson Koenig,
  20. I really really really want Dalton Knecht. He is the type of kid Wisconsin, Iowa, etc. have have for a decade plus that has torched us year in and year out. It's our turn...please.
  21. I'll admit...I am a basketball junkie, and I turned it off at half time and went to bed. Granted, they did themselves no favors with the 9:20pm EST Tip.
  22. Is he solely a post up big? Can he stretch the floor? I had not seen us in the mix at all with this kid.
